Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) tells Katie Logan (Heather Tom) about her decision to cut Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) off. Katie is shocked by Brooke and Taylor Hayes’s (Krista Allen) truce. Katie wants to know how Brooke truly feels about everything. Brooke tells Katie she had to break this cycle. Brooke says Taylor and her decided to stop fighting over Ridge. Brooke says Katie seems at ease over breaking things off with Bill. Katie invites Brooke to Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) for dinner.

Brooke tells Katie that R.J. Forrester isn’t coming home for the holidays. Katie’s son isn’t coming home either. Katie tells Brook about Bill’s idea of going sailing for months. Shelia heads toward downtown and gets stalled in traffic. Backup still hasn’t arrived. Steffy is terrified that Sheila will get away. Baker tells the officer not to let Sheila get away. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) fears that Sheila is armed. Sheila refuses to go down like this. Baker tells the officer to move in. The officer orders everyone to stay in their car. Sheila got away, the cop is blocked in.

Sheila speeds down the road after getting away from the cop. Baker wants units canvassing the area. Finn is furious that Sheila got away. Baker warns Steffy to warn the families that Sheila is in the Beverly Hills Area. Brooke tells Baker that Sheila has been playing this game too long. Steffy is terrified that Sheila will get to their family. Steffy says Sheila is a threat to them and their children. Steffy remembers everything Sheila has done to them.
