Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
Steffy has said goodbye to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and she guesses Hope did to. Hope saw Thomas and give him her blessing, Steffy looks surprised.
Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and Jack Finnegan (Ted King) stop by John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) office to say hi. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) wants Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) to have his name.
Steffy Forrester Is Shocked By Hope Logan
Steffy is surprised that Hope gave Thomas her blessing. Hope needs to figure out why she feels the way she does. Steffy is proud of Hope and Thomas.
Hope is glad that Thomas and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) are taking their time to establish themselves as a family. Steffy wonders what happened to cause Hope’s change of mind.
Steffy wonders if something changed Hope’s mind about Thomas and Paris or was it someone. Hope had a very long talk with her mother, and she put things into perspective.
Hope admits she has been experiencing some inner turmoil for a while, but she has finally gotten her head on straight.

Steffy continues to question what Hope has been dealing with, but Hope deflects. Hope tells Steffy that it isn’t anything to do with her. Steffy doesn’t seem to believe Hope.
Steffy leaves and calls the police saying they should check out Tom’s death because of the fact that he worked with Sheila.
Finn stops by to see Steffy, but she isn’t there. Finn wonders how Hope is doing now that Thomas has gone back to Paris.
Finn tells Hope this is for the best because he knows that right person is out there waiting for Hope. Hope will soon find the man of her dreams and forget all about Thomas.
Sheila’s Discovery
Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) has errands to run as does Bill. Luna stays at home while they do what needs to be done. Meanwhile, Hollis has something he wants to show Sheila.
Hollis wants to know what killed Tom because she knows he didn’t kill himself. Hollis comes back with the backpack and Sheila orders him to throw it away.
Hollis is looking at the backpack with a flashlight when someone he obviously knows arrives. However, this person isn’t seen, Hollis needs to talk to someone.
Fast forward to morning, Sheila comes downstairs for coffee. Unfortunately, Sheila discovers Hollis’ body and screams. Deacon arrives and Sheila tells him Hollis is dead.

The Bold And The Beautiful: Jack Finnegan And Li Finnegan Withhold Evidence
Finn is shocked to learn that Li and Jack were both there when Tom Starr (Clint Howard) died, and he is just now learning about it. Li was picking up takeout and Jack was having a drink.
Finn tells his parents to be civil when they start to argue. Li gets called away and Jack promises to text next time.
Jack is glad that Finn is spending time with Poppy and Luna. Luna is a sweet girl and Poppy is a good soul no matter what Li says about her. Li stops back by to talk to Finn.
Li wonders if Finn has talked to Poppy and Luna. Finn knows that Bill Spencer is Luna’s father. Finn asks if there is more he should know. Li says Poppy finally got what she wanted, a rich man.

In a couple of remarks Jack acknowledged how terrible Tom Starr actually was. And before the Bill/Luna paternity test Li did mention that she would protect Finn at all costs. There is a lot of misdirection going on for a fun summer mystery.
How did Steffy get away with killing Sugar? Chief Deputy Baker absolved her when Sheila was thought to be the home invader, but I don’t remember any explanation for the death of the unarmed Sugar. Any thoughts?
