Obviously not and he won’t let Finn get past it either. Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) comes home and spends some time with Liam. Steffy tells her to wash up.

Steffy tries to call Finn again. Liam asks why Steffy didn’t leave a message. Liam says Steffy is all worried about Finn saving his patients all the time.
Steffy is still shocked that Finn hasn’t called her back. Steffy says she usually isn’t wound up about nothing.
Steffy talks about everything that has happened there. Steffy doesn’t know how much more of Sheila her marriage could take. Steffy says Sheila is a bad memory and won’t be a part of Finn’s life ever again.

Sheila wants to go after Sugar (Kimberlin Brown) they have to find her before she gets to Steffy. Deacon and Finn promise that Sheila won’t hurt anyone again.

Sheila learns that everyone thought she was dead. Deacon and Finn describe how they had a memorial service etc. Deacon tells Sheila about the memorial service.
Deacon figured it out that Sheila was alive. Sheila can’t believe her missing toe saved her life. Sheila wants to know why they had a memorial service.
Why did they think she was dead? Deacon was saying his final goodbyes so he went to the cremation and pushed the button and it didn’t make any sense when he saw ten toes.
Deacon realized that it wasn’t Sheila. Deacon says he sounded like a mad man telling everyone that she was live. Deacon found the name Sugar and that is how he put it together.

Deacon figured Sheila was locked up somewhere. Deacon says they found a receipt for a convenience store and how Tom (Clint Howard) gave them a clue where to find her.
Sheila learns that Sugar is dead. Steffy killed Sugar thinking she was Sheila. Sheila realizes that everyone thought she was dead, and that Steffy killed her.
Sugar broke in and Steffy grabbed a knife and stabbed Sugar. Finn says his wife didn’t kill his mother; his mother is alive.
Finn says losing Sheila made him realize that this connection is real. Finn says it killed him to think he wouldn’t get to see Sheila again.
His mother didn’t die, she didn’t attack Steffy, she tried to save her. Finn believes Sheila. Finn and Steffy promise they won’t be apart again.

Remember when Finn hugged Sheila WAY BACK at the sentencing session where Finn and Steffy refused to testify because Dollar Bill had something over Taylor? Liam creepily recorded the moment and has never let Finn live it down. The 5-3-2024 episode finally had the hug between the two revisited with Finn saying “I believe in you mom”… and Deacon was moved to tears–months in the making!
Actually, it was “Mom, I believe in YOU!”
