Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) defended her actions. Plus, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) comforted Hope about losing Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).
The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – Liam Spencer’s Check-In
B&B recap for Monday, April 1 reveals that Hope is at Forrester Creations. Hope picks up a flyer that shows her and Thomas together.
Suddenly, Liam shows up. Hope assumes Liam is there to gloat. However, Liam surprises Hope by saying he doesn’t get off by seeing her in pain.

Liam blames Thomas’ unrealistic expectations. Liam says Hope doesn’t need to feel guilty. Then, Liam brings up how hard it must be for Hope to have lost Douglas.
Hope insists that Douglas is her son in all the ways that matter. Hope admits she didn’t have the goodbye with Douglas that she wanted.
Hope blames Steffy for most of what’s happening to her. Hope confesses she broke Thomas’ heart, but Steffy made things so much worse.
Hope adds that Douglas is heartbroken, and that the little boy thinks she doesn’t love him as much as she should. Liam assures Hope and says Douglas might just need time.
Hope wishes Thomas took time to actually think about his decisions before running away. Hope says that Steffy just had to ruin everything.

Hope tells Liam that everything would be different if she had just said yes to Thomas’ proposal. Hope says that she truly loves Thomas.
Hope isn’t sure if she would have ever married Thomas, but now they won’t find out because of Steffy.
Liam offers to help Hope with Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza). Liam admits he is relieved that Thomas is out of Beth’s life.
Liam thinks this is a good thing. Liam then tells Hope that she will meet a man worth saying yes to in the future.
B&B Recap – Luna Nozawa’s Flashback
On Monday, April 1, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) is in the design office at Forrester Creations. Luna flashes back to waking up in Zende Forrester Dominguez’s (Delon de Metz) bed.
Luna learns about Thomas leaving for Europe and taking Douglas with him. Luna is also filled in on the reason why, because Hope rejected Thomas’ marriage proposal.
Zende says it’s difficult to wait for someone who can’t give themselves for whatever reason. Luna suggests distance and time might help. Ridge “RJ” Forrester, Jr. (Joshua Hoffman) believes “Thope” is done.
However, Zende brings up how in sync Thomas and Hope were in regarding HFTF’s vision. Zende, RJ, and Luna agree that with Thomas gone, they need to step up for Hope.
Zende gushes about how amazing Luna is. RJ notices and seems uncomfortable. Zende says it will be a pleasure to work more closely with Luna. Of course, Luna forces a weak smile.

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, April 1 reveals that Finn tells Steffy that losing Douglas must be hard for Hope.

Steffy claims that Hope isn’t a victim, she’s just another Logan. Finn doesn’t understand why Steffy has to turn this into another family feud.
Steffy insists that Hope is not innocent and led Thomas on. Steffy thinks everything that Hope is losing, she brought on herself.
Steffy doesn’t think anyone should feel sorry for Hope. Finn thinks Steffy is being too harsh and children were involved.

Finn defends Hope and says she doesn’t deserve all the blame. Finn adds that getting riled up isn’t good for Steffy.

Finn urges Steffy not to make things worse. Steffy counters that Hope threatened her. Steffy doesn’t like Finn standing up for Hope. Finn claims he’s not doing that. Steffy knows that Finn always sees the best in people.
Steffy admits that she loves how Finn sees the best in everyone. They both agree that their love for each other is what’s important. “SINN” kiss, but when Steffy embraces Finn, her eyes gaze away…

I see both sides. I agree with Steffy that Hope is not as innocent as she used to be, and I think she should have told Thomas sooner about her realizing she is not ready to be married again. However, Steffy is indeed making thi gs worse by sticking her nose where it does not belong, and ranting about the the Logans. She needs to show a little compassion, and to learn when to butt out and shut her mouth.
I understand what Hope is saying and Steffy should stay out of it and let Hope n Thomas work it out
So Hope is wrong for not telling him sooner she wasn’t ready to get married. But Thomas shouldn’t
Left for Europe and take Douglas. I wish there would get together. Be done with it.
I think Steffy needs to lose Finn because she a selfish and so hateful. She is not that I remember she stole Liam from Hope on her wedding day .I think Finn and Hope need to hookup. That would be a nice couple who things in common.
