B&B Recap Monday, August 12: Poppy Arrested, RJ’s Bomb, Bill’s World Collapses

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, August 12, 2024 is finally here! On today’s episode, Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) arrested Penelope “Poppy” Nozawa (Romy Park). RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) drops a bomb on Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Plus, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is shaken by the bombshells just dropped. Keep reading to find out everything that happened in today’s episode of the CBS soap opera.

The Bold And The Beautiful  Spoilers – Katie Logan Begs

B&B recap for Monday, August 12 reveal that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) begs Bill to believe her. Katie says Poppy is dangerous. Suddenly, Poppy and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) walk in. Luna asks what’s going on. Katie says she’s there to warn Bill. Katie adds with squared shoulders, “I know you did it, Poppy!”

Ridge and Brooke kiss at Forrester Creations. Brooke stops Ridge from going further and suggests a fun workout at the gym. Ridge is confused. Brooke reasons now that she’s modeling again, she needs to look her best. Ridge goes back to kissing Brooke until RJ interrupts.

At Il Giardino, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) meet. Liam mentions Will’s awkward homecoming.

B&B Recap – RJ Forrester’s Confession

RJ tells Ridge and Brooke that Luna “found something.” RJ tries to back out but Brooke is confused. Brooke urges RJ to continue. I would want the gossip too, Brooke. RJ starts to tell them that Luna found Tom Starr’s (Clint Howard) backpack. RJ continues about the letters and daddy claim. Ridge and Brooke are shocked.

Poppy trots toward Katie in her noisy stilettos. Poppy calls Katie a jealous ex-wife and a troublemaker. Poppy tells Katie that she needs to leave. Katie laughs at the thought of Poppy kicking her out of Bill’s house. Poppy “politely” tells Katie to get lost. Katie refuses.

Katie says Poppy had a connection to one of the two deaths at Il Giardino. Katie is on fire and keeps ranting about her discoveries. Katie also says that Poppy had a motive. Katie says that she’s there to warn Bill (dramatic pause), because “he’s living with a MURDERER!” How heroic!  

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Will Spencer’s Doubt

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, August 12 reveals that food is served at Liam and Will’s table. Will has doubts about Poppy and Luna. Will mentions how quickly the relationship has sped ahead. Liam talks about the benefit of getting a sister out of the situation.

Will isn’t sure how he feels about Luna yet. Will does know that Bill’s new family is “pretty strange.” Will brings up Poppy admitting to the paternity decades later. Will sounds a lot like Katie. 

Ridge and Brooke are stunned by RJ”s bombshell. RJ tries to play detective. Brooke doesn’t know what “this” is exactly. RJ tells Brooke and Ridge about Katie’s theory. RJ says the letters are proof that Tom was pressuring Poppy.

Brooke brings up the paternity test but Ridge says those tests can be fooled. Brooke can’t argue with that. Brooke says if Poppy was feeling cornered by Tom … Ridge finishes that desperate people do desperate things.

B&B Recap -Monday, August 12, 2024

Bill tells Katie to stop. Luna tells Katie that her accusations are hurtful. Poppy insists she’s innocent. Katie says the facts speak for themselves. Bill wants to know what facts Katie is referring to. Katie brings up the letters. Poppy is speechless and looks over at Luna.

Katie sees the look and jumps in to clarify she got the info from RJ. Katie also says she talked to Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) about Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers). Katie also brings up Poppy confronting Tom before he took stage and admitting to taking matters into her own hands.

RJ continues debating about the Poppy situation with BRIDGE.

Liam plays devil’s advocate for Poppy to Will. Liam suggests they don’t know Poppy well enough to say if the paternity delay is “weird” or not. Liam does say that Poppy cares a lot about Bill. Will isn’t convinced.

Bill has questions. Poppy denies killing Tom. Bill says he has people who could have handled this for her. Poppy apologizes. 

Baker comes in to arrest Poppy. Baker says he has evidence. This is more serious than letters, Baker tells Bill. Baker says drugs were found in Tom’s backpack, The tin looks like Poppy’s mint tin. Baker adds that these mints are laced and deadly. 

Luna asks Poppy if she is guilty. Poppy says she’s innocent. Luna asks if the paternity test was real. Poppy claims it was. I’m not sure if Luna believes her mom or not. Bill tells Baker to do what they have to do. Bill adds that he hopes none of this is true as Poppy is read her rights.
