B&B Recap Thursday, August 15: Finn Slams Hope, Brooke Supports Steffy, DNA Do-Over

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 15, 2024 is finally here! On today’s episode, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) slams Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) supports Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Meanwhile, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) take another paternity test. 

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester’s Discovery

Hope is in her office and flashes back to kissing Finn. Hope looks sick. Brooke comes in. Brooke can see the worried look on Hope’s face. Brooke assumes it’s about HFTF. Brooke says the bedroom line is doing so well it can carry HFTF for a while. The news isn’t cheering up Hope. Brooke asks if the distraction has to do with Finn.

Finn is at home. Steffy asks if he wants coffee. Finn beat her to it and already has her cup ready. Steffy tells Finn that Brooke swore to her there would be no more problems from her or Hope. Steffy seems encouraged and optimistic. Way more positive than she was at the party! 

Bill stares out a window with a troubled look. The phone rings. It’s Katie Logan (Heather Tom) asking for updates on Penelope “Poppy” Nozawa (Romy Park). Katie asks about the paternity test. Katie urges him to get it done today. Bill bought a test, but hasn’t talked about it with Luna yet. Katie just wants Bill to know for sure. Bill promises to update Katie on Poppy and the test. 

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) asks Katie if everything is okay. Katie tells Ridge about Poppy’s arrest

B&B Spoilers – Bill Spencer’s DNA Do-Over

B&B Recap for Thursday, August 15 reveals that Luna walks in as Bill is holding the paternity test. Bill brings up taking another paternity test. Bill does it in a gentle and sensitive way. Luna agrees that they need to know for sure if they are really father/daughter. 

Finn wants to talk to Steffy about something. It’s the kiss. But Steffy has to go and wants to talk tonight when she can give Finn her full attention. They kiss and Steffy exits. 

Hope tells Brooke the example she’s currently setting for Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) isn’t good. Brooke wants to know details about what’s really going on. 

Finn packs medical files in his bag. Finn texts Hope to meet. 

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan’s Horror

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 15 reveals that Hope tells Brooke that  she tried ignoring her feelings, but it hasn’t worked. Brooke reasons that Hope’s attraction to Finn is really about her frustration with Steffy. Hope is freaking out. Hope says she’s stuck in a vicious cycle she can’t get out of. Hope adds that Finn reminds her that there’s someone out there for her.

Brooke tells Hope that man isn’t Finn. Hope knows but now she’s worried she ruined her friendship with Finn. Brooke is horrified and making assumptions, but Hope won’t give her any other information. When Hope gets Finn’s text, she races out of there leaving Brooke with more questions than answers.

Ridge has a hard time believing Poppy is a killer. Ridge still thinks it’s Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) even after Katie brings up the backpack.  Katie rambles about how she’s the only one who sees Poppy as manipulative. Ridge smiles and says Katie still cares about Bill. Katie knows what Ridge is insinuating.

Luna and Bill discuss taking another paternity test. Bill says he wants Luna to be his daughter, but they are better off knowing for sure. Luna agrees to do the second test. 

Hope arrives at Finn’s office at the hospital. Finn immediately asks Hope what she was thinking. 

Luna and Bill set a timer for the DNA test. Now they wait. 

B&B Recap – Thursday, August 15, 2024

Brooke joins Katie and Ridge at the office. Brooke sides with Ridge, that she doesn’t think Poppy is capable of murder. Steffy walks in and asks what’s going on. Ridge says it’s about Poppy. Katie tells Steffy that Poppy’s been arrested. Steffy is shocked and thinks it’s a misunderstanding. Katie says there is no misunderstanding. Steffy tells Katie that this is Finn’s aunt they are talking about.

Finn blasts Hope for crossing boundaries. Finn loves Steffy and he says Hope knows this. Hope says he’s amazing. Finn reminds Hope that he’s also married to Steffy. Hope apologizes and is emotional. 

Back at the office, Katie tells everyone she urged Bill to get another paternity test.  

Bill knows this is a lot for Luna. Bill says this is unexpected, but they have to be certain. Luna already feels certain that he’s her father. Bill says Luna is an addition that he didn’t know he needed. Bill loves being Luna’s dad. The timer goes off. The DNA test results are ready. Bill reads it and then turns around, shielding the test from Luna. Luna asks what it says but Bill hesitates.

Brooke and Steffy talk about Poppy. Steffy worries about Finn. Steffy says Poppy was around a lot when Finn was growing up. Steffy wants to be there for Finn the way he’s there for her. Brooke assures Steffy that she’ll figure out how to be there for Finn.

Brooke is being really nice to Steffy and giving her some good advice. Brooke adds that SINN are stronger than ever. Steffy admits she talked to Finn about her and the promise she made. Brooke promises that she meant it about no more problems. Steffy wonders if Hope meant it, too.

Hope keeps apologizing. Hope promises it won’t happen again. Finn says she’s right, it won’t. Hope begs Finn to just forget it ever happened. Hope urges Finn to keep it between them. Finn is horrified. Finn says he can’t keep secrets from Steffy, especially when he’s trying to prove trust.

Ooooh, Finn has a good point. Finn says he tried to make things better between Steffy and Hope. Finn can’t believe Hope is now asking him to lie. Hope says the truth will be too damaging, but Finn won’t lie to Steffy. Finn says he loves Steffy too much and she needs to know what Hope has done.
