B&B Recap Thursday, August 22: Steffy Sees Luna Kiss Bill, Taylor Rips Into Hope

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 22, 2024 is finally here! On today’s episode, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) saw Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) forbidden kiss.

Luna confuses RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) with her statement about Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Plus, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) ripped into both Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) as well as Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s Confrontation

B&B recap for Thursday, August 22 reveal that in Hope’s office, Steffy threatens her to stay away from John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Steffy says that Hope and Finn are nothing and have no friendship. 

Over in Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) office, Taylor is in disbelief over Brooke’s statement. Then, Taylor quickly corrects herself and says of course Brooke’s daughter kissed Steffy’s husband.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is at Bill’s mansion. Liam is shocked to learn about Penelope “Poppy” Nozawa’s (Romy Park) arrest. Liam also knows that Luna isn’t really Bill’s daughter.

RJ is worried about Luna. RJ hasn’t seen her much. Luna hasn’t been to work either. Luna is emotional over her mother. Luna declares that her mother might actually be a murderer. RJ agrees this whole thing is disturbing..

B&B Recap – Liam Spencer’s Discovery

Liam asks Bill if he’s okay. Bill says he hasn’t lost anything yet. Poppy might be under arrest, but hasn’t been convicted yet. As for Luna, he vows to always be there for her. 

Ridge stands by and says nothing as Taylor rips into Brooke. Brooke says she isn’t going to make excuses for Hope. Taylor says like mother, like daughter.

Steffy tells Hope that Finn would never willingly betray her. However, betrayal is who Hope is, Steffy says. Steffy continues ranting and says Finn sees Hope exactly for who she is now. 

Bill tells Liam that if money was Poppy’s motive, then she could have done it a long time ago. Liam reasons that Poppy might have believed Tom Starr (Clint Howard) was Luna’s father. Then Bill explains to Liam that Poppy didn’t administer the test, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) did.

Liam thinks Li must have helped Poppy tamper with the test. Bill says that’s not likely since Li hates Poppy to death. Bill doesn’t know what to think and worries how confused Luna is by all of this. Bill thinks Luna is a sweet, little girl and is determined to support her.

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – RJ Forrester’s Confusion

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 22 reveals that Luna tells RJ about not being Bill’s daughter. RJ says that she can stay with him. Luna declines and says she needs to be there for Bill. RJ is a bit confused. Luna claims no one understands except her and Bill. It should be noted that Luna is wearing all black leather. Could that indicate an alter???

Back to the episode, Luna tells RJ that she needs to be there at the mansion for Bill. RJ scratches the back of his neck in confusion.

B&B Recap – Thursday, August 22, 2024

Ridge sides with Taylor. Ridge says of all the guys to choose from… Brooke interrupts and says Hope didn’t “choose” to kiss Finn. Taylor interjects and mockingly says, “Hope was just following her heart!” 

Hope keeps telling Steffy that she’s the one to blame. Steffy says she’s leaving town for a while. Steffy tells Hope that she’s not leaving Finn and is still committed to her marriage. Steffy is just leaving for a short time and tells Hope not to try anything with Finn. 

RJ is confused why Luna is going to still live with Bill. Luna says she lost a father and Bill lost a daughter. Luna says Bill is hurting right now and needs her. Luna adds that she needs Bill.

Bill tells Liam that Luna is in a very vulnerable and fragile state right now. Bill doesn’t tell Liam details and just says she’s “very confused.” Steffy walks into the Spencer mansion. Steffy offers her condolences for Poppy’s arrest.

Steffy turns to Liam and tells him about leaving town. Liam will watch Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay). Steffy tells Liam and Bill that Finn “allowed” Hope to kiss him. 

Taylor and Brooke continue bickering. Ridge only interjects when Brooke claps back at Taylor. Ridge didn’t have an issue with Taylor bashing Brooke, though. Hope suddenly walks in.

Taylor asks if Hope was intentionally targeting Steffy’s husband. As Hope drops open and her eyes bug out,  Taylor answers her own question and says, “Of course you were.” 

Liam is shocked by the kiss. Steffy tells Liam it happened at Eric Forrester’s (John McCook), then excuses herself to leave. 

Taylor lectures Hope. Taylor says she thought Hope was different and had morality. Hope tries to defend herself, but Taylor keeps going. Now that Taylor is attacking Hope, Ridge decides to say “let’s all just take a breath.” Taylor ignores Ridge and keeps yapping. Taylor brings up Hope’s relationships with Liam and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

Luna is back at Bill’s. Luna tells Bill she went to talk to RJ. When Bill calls RJ Luna’s boyfriend, she gets a funny look on her face. Luna hesitates and says RJ doesn’t really understand what they’re going through. Bill thinks she’s handling things with grace. Luna doesn’t agree.

Bill counsels Luna and assures they will get through this. Bill says he still cares about her and he’s not going anywhere. Bill says Luna can stay there as long as she likes. Steffy sneaks in to get her bag as overhears Luna gushing to Bill, then watches a forbidden kiss. Yes, again!
