B&B Recap Wednesday, August 14: Hope’s Drunken Kiss, Katie’s Paternity Plea

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, August 14, 2024 is here! On today’s episode, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) planted a drunken kiss on John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) at the party. Plus, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) begged Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to get a paternity test.

Later, Katie freaked out Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) by telling him that his future stepmother might be a serial killer.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Katie Logan’s Hyperventilating

B&B recap for Wednesday, August 14 reveals that Katie is begging Bill to take another paternity test. Bill doesn’t think that’s necessary. Bill isn’t even sure if Penelope “Poppy” Nozawa (Romy Park) is guilty of murder.

Katie is desperately begging, almost out of breath and hyperventilating. Katie says if Poppy is capable of everything she’s done so far, then she’s capable of faking a test. And Katie wants it done today. 

At the party, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Ridge Forrester) are chatting with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and Christine “Cricket” Blair (Lauralee Bell). It seems Christine’s gotten a little wild while on tour with Danny! In the background, Pamela “Pam” Douglas (Alley Mills) and Hope are talking. Then, Finn tries to distract Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) from Brooke.

Steffy says she likes to think of it as celebrating a partnership with Danny. Brooke comes up to personally thank Steffy for her kind speech. Steffy says Brooke’s success is her success. Hope interjects and starts gushing about her mother again. 

B&B Recap – Donna Logan Forrester FanGirls

Pam and Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) are talking to Danny and Christine now. Donna tried to get tickets, but they were sold out. Danny invites them to the concert personally. Donna wants photos of Brooke with Danny and Christine. As the shutter clicks, Steffy looks on with annoyance. Finn once again tries to soothe Steffy. As Hope drools over Finn, Brooke watches with horror. 

Katie continues begging Bill to get another paternity test. Luna comes downstairs. Luna couldn’t sleep because she can’t stop thinking of her mom in jail. Luna is getting emotional. Bill goes to hug Luna. Katie looks on and clearly feels awful for what Luna is going through.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Danny Romalotti’s Partnership 

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, August 14 reveals that back at the party, Danny tells Brooke that he’s excited to be working with her. Danny feels that they are both getting back out there.

Christine adds that Danny just isn’t doing it in his underwear. Brooke doesn’t take offense and the two women laugh. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) arrives and more photos are taken.

Hope is clearly drunk as she talks to Steffy and Finn about Brooke’s accomplishments. Hope brings up the deal with Danny for the music. Steffy says she just cares about revenue. 

Back over with Brooke, Christine commends her on the positive message with Brooke’s Bedroom. Christine brings up the rumors that Hope’s line is struggling. Hope overhears and rushes over to pipe in. Hope explains her line is in “transition” the past few quarters. Hope says that her line has FC’s total commitment. Hope asks Steffy to chime in, but there is just awkward silence.

Katie is in the office. Will comes in and Katie asks him to close the door. Katie looks stressed. Katie says it’s about Bill.

Bill tells Luna that this is a scary time. Bill knows Luna always had Poppy and now she doesn’t. Luna knows her mother is innocent. Bill says if the unthinkable happens, he will be there for her. 

Katie tells Will about Poppy’s arrest. Will freaks out over Poppy possibly killing two people. Katie reasons Bill is safe now because Poppy is in police custody. Will is still freaking out. Katie brings up that maybe Poppy faked the paternity test, too.

Luna offers to move out and says she would understand if Bill needs space. Bill says he doesn’t need space, he needs Luna to know that she will always have her father. They embrace as Bill’s brows furrow with worry.

B&B Recap – Wednesday, August 14, 2024

Brooke goes back to Steffy and again thanks her for the kind words. Brooke says that they are both on the same team and both want what’s best for the company. Brooke says that this is everyone’s success, including Steffy’s.

Brooke says she wants the Logan vs Forresters to end, she’s sick of it. Brooke assures Steffy that she and Hope won’t cause any problems. Steffy smiles and appreciates it, then walks off. As Brooke returns to Ridge, he thanks her for trying to smooth things over with Steffy.

As BRIDGE hug, Hope stares at Finn with a goofy look on her face.

Katie tells Will that he thinks Bill will get another paternity test. Will commends his mother for still caring about Bill. Katie hugs Will. 

Bill tells Luna what she’s been through today is horrifying. But Bill also says he’s very impressed with Luna’s grace and dignity. Luna says her strength is a facade. Bill apologizes and swears they will get the truth. Luna hopes so as she hugs Bill again. Meanwhile, Katie’s words about the paternity test keep echoing in Bill’s mind.

Ridge has a speech to thank everyone. Ridge also announces the partnership with Danny. Danny offers to sing a song to his SuperFan, Donna. Danny dedicates the song to everyone at Forrester Creations. As Danny sings, everyone at the party dances. Steffy goes to take a phone call. While Steffy is away, a drunk Hope goes to Finn behind some plants, then kisses him. Finn pushes Hope away and looks horrified.
