B&B Spoilers And Recap Thursday, December 9: Brooke Leery, Liam Rejects Bill’s Offer

The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap for Thursday, December 9, 2021 reveals in Los Angeles at Forrester Creations where Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) work together to reunite their family. They try to convince Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to return to their mother. Ridge admits that he and Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) shared many happy years together.

Thomas believes Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) caused the unhappy years. Ridge apologizes for causing them pain while he wavered between Brooke and Taylor. Steffy and Thomas resent that he chose a life with Brooke over a life with them and their mother. Steffy wonders if Ridge thinks about what would have happened if he’d chosen Taylor.

Ridge says Brooke is part of his dysfunctional family. Steffy and Thomas say Logans put each other first, but Taylor always put Ridge first. Brooke was relentless against Taylor and is forcing Ridge to make a choice again.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Is Leery of Deacon Sharpe

At the cabin, Brooke is still leery of Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) motives. Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) says Deacon is a changed man who only wants acceptance, love, and family. Brooke says Ridge won’t force Hope out. She wishes Ridge had handled things differently, but he’s frustrated and thinks he’s acting in their best interests. She won’t let Deacon put a wedge between her and Ridge.

Deacon promises that he’s not expecting handouts or working angles. A proud Hope hugs Deacon.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) gets support from his father at Il Giardino. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) smells a con. He says Deacon is Hope’s father in name only, since he’s been MIA the entirety of Hope’s life. Now suddenly, the convict has sprouted angel wings to bond with his kindhearted, well-connected daughter. Bill believes Deacon is pushing all Hope’s emotional buttons. He urges Liam not to let Deacon get close to his wife and children. Bill fears Deacon’s next target will be Bill’s granddaughter. Deacon will always be trouble. Once a con man, always a con man.

B&B Spoilers – Liam Spencer Rejects Bill Spencer’s Offer

Liam says drawing a line in the sand will push Hope closer to Deacon and strain their marriage. He doesn’t want to be disloyal or insensitive to Hope. Liam says there must be a dark cloud hanging over their heads after all that they’ve been through with Beth Spencer and Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero). Bill says Deacon is a dark cloud that can be managed. Liam rejects Bill’s offer to get involved. Bill says there’s no fault in Liam protecting his family.

Deacon heads off to work as a janitor at a bar. When he’s tasked with cleaning bathrooms, he remembers that his daughter is proud of him and finishes the job. He fantasizes about Brooke.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Logan Needs Liam Spencer To Trust Her

Liam comes home to Hope, energized from his time with his dad. Hope says he should empathize with her need to have her father be part of her life. Liam admits that both men are morally ambiguous characters. However, Bill’s flaws—recklessness, callousness, and rule-breaking—gets channeled into protecting and providing for his family. Deacon doesn’t give, he takes. Hope asks her husband to trust and have faith in her.

Ridge comes home to the news that Brooke has been chatting it up with Deacon. Brooke was hurt when he tried to evict Hope. Ridge apologizes. Brooke’s not naïve, but she’s seen the changes in Deacon. Ridge believes Deacon will start drinking again, run out of money, and come running to Brooke.
