Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) tries to help Brooke feel better about her slip on New Year’s. He’ll go to a thousand AA meetings to convince her that he’ll be by her side forever. Ridge confesses that he needs her more than she needs him. Brooke doesn’t know how he puts up with her.
Brooke is consumed by the question of what triggered her relapse. Why did the urge to drink strike out of nowhere?
Brooke wishes he’d been with her that night. Ridge kicks himself for not realizing Brooke was struggling and for not coming home that night. He’s upset that he can’t take her pain away. Brooke’s honesty about that night makes Ridge want to be a better person for her.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Carter Walton And Paris Buckingham Revisit Their New Year’s Kiss
Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) invites Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) to his loft to go over her financial portfolio. Paris knows she’s in good hands. Paris gushes about the personal and financial wisdom he’s doled out to her.

Paris confirms her belief that she’s not ready for marriage to Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz), because she can’t get Carter’s kiss out of her head. She couldn’t fully commit to Zende because her attraction to Carter has been building over time. She feels better about spending time with Carter since Zende is out on a date.
Carter and Paris have a replay of their New Year’s kiss. They realize it could get complicate but continue to kiss.
B&B Spoilers – Hope Logan Confronts Her Mother
Liam reassures a fearful Douglas that he didn’t do anything wrong. Douglas wonders if Hope has gone to tell Grandma that Douglas saw her kissing Santa.
Hope interrupts Brooke’s daydreams about Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Hope gives Brooke a chance to come clean about what really happened on New Year’s, but Brooke clams up. Hope asks if there’s anything that Douglas might have seen that night that Hope needs to know about. Hope says Douglas is 100 percent sure he saw Brooke kissing a man in a red and white hat. Brooke realizes she’s caught. Hope demands the truth.
