The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap for Tuesday, October 12, 2021 reveals in Los Angeles at the cabin where Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) relax after putting the kids to bed. Hope loves their family and the life they’ve created. Liam says it’s his job as husband to protect her and that life from people like her father. Liam is still reeling from when Hope sprang Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) on the family. Deacon is a con man and kidnapper who preys on trusting people like Hope.

Hope believes Deacon wants to genuinely get to know her. She appreciates Liam’s concern, but she’s being careful and walking into it with eyes wide open. Liam doesn’t want her walking into it at all—if they want the best for their family, Deacon has to stay away.

Deacon passes on the offer to play for Team Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). He gives her a backhanded compliment—she’s very attractive for a psychopath—but he’s not interested in getting thrown off a cliff again. Deacon wants to be a productive member of society. Aligning himself with Sheila isn’t the way to get closer to Hope. He reminds her of her terrifying escapades with man-eating Dobermans and killer bees.

B&B Spoilers – Sheila Carter Makes One Last Pitch

Sheila makes one last pitch. She needs him as much as he needs her. She says the Forresters have maliciously vilified her for years. Deacon says it’s not malicious if her reputation is deserved. Sheila says they’ve both apologized and shouldn’t be kept from their children because of mistakes they made in the past.

When Deacon goes to pay his bar tab, he doesn’t have the money or a home to return to. Sheila pays the bill and offers him a place to stay. He’s disappointed in himself—he hoped that things would be different after prison, but he’s broke, homeless, and drinking again with Sheila.

Steffy Forrester (Jaqueline MacInnes Wood) puts her kids to bed and welcomes home her hubby from a busy day at the hospital. Finn Finnegan (Tanner Dovlan) says Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) texted that he was sorry he missed Finn. Steffy says Ridge brought the bad news that another unwanted family member has returned: Hope’s father is out of prison. Steffy says Ridge played a father figure for Hope. It’s a reminder that DNA doesn’t define a person.

Steffy senses there’s something on Finn’s mind. Finn wonders how Hope feels about Deacon’s return. Finn can relate to Hope’s dilemma. Steffy says that Deacon lost his fatherhood privilege. Hope needs to think about her children and set boundaries. Finn quietly disagrees with Steffy’s hard stance against his and Hope’s outcast parents.

Deacon calls Hope, but she has to hang up when Liam returns. Sheila assures him that their kids want to know them, but Steffy and Liam and Ridge and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) are standing in the way.

Deacon says he’s a better person, but wonders if Sheila has changed. Sheila’s money and hospitality come with a price. Deacon reluctantly agrees to join forces with Sheila, but fears he’ll regret it. Sheila vows that Steffy and the Forresters won’t know what hit them.
