B&B Spoilers – Eric Forrester’s Terms

Eric made an agreement with Carter in order to keep the man working for him. One of the terms is he cannot see Quinn ever again. Carter initially agreed to the pact but now he is starting to question that decision. The COO knows that it is only a matter of time before Eric and everyone else finds out the truth. Carter would rather be direct and upfront about it, but Quinn doesn’t want him to go public.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Carter is really only thinking about what he wants now. Meanwhile, Quinn is actually thinking about the long-term effects. For one, she knows that Carter has always wanted a family of his own. She can’t give him that unless they adopted or had kids another way. Plus, she might not even want to raise a child all over again.

In addition to that, Quinn doesn’t want Carter throwing away his career. It’s true that he can get a job as a lawyer anywhere, but that’s not really the point. Carter has invested a lot in his years at Forrester Creations.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Sofer was asked if Quinn was concerned about their secret getting out and the effect it would have on Carter.

“Yes! She doesn’t want him to lose everything. Yes, he can be a lawyer again but the years he has put into Forrester is a massive commitment and she doesn’t want him to walk away from that — not for her.”

It seems that fate might step in to protect Carter, though. Eric suddenly decides that he wants reconciliation with Quinn. This comes right as Carter is considering going public with his relationship. So, maybe Eric’s timing is for a reason and will prevent Carter from making a big mistake.
