“This is my first Hallmark movie,” Chaley explains in the behind the scenes tour. “I’m thrilled to be part of the Hallmark family.” ‘Christmas Duet’ was filmed in Vancouver, B.C., Hallmark Channel’s number one place to shoot the network’s movies and television series.

This is Rome’s first Hallmark Channel movie. ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ fans hope to see more starring roles for the actor in the network’s original series and movies.

The former music collaborators haven’t performed together since they went their separate ways years ago. Averie gave up music and opened a beautiful lodge in a snowy Vermont town. Jesse is still touring, struggling to find the same kind of success he and Averie had as a duo.

Jesse arrives in town and bumps into Averie for the first time at the Blue Spruce Inn. Jesse tells Averie that “Wouldn’t Be Christmas” is still the most requested song at all his concerts. Averie lets Jesse know she avoids the song as much as she can. The magic of Christmas could give Averie and Jessie the nudge they need professional and personal, reunion.

Hallmark Channel fan-favorite Terri Rothery joins the cast of ‘Christmas Duet.’ A travel magazine writer who visits Blue Spruce Inn to consider it for “Top Winter Lodge.” Winning the distinction will earn Averie a much-needed cash prize.

Teryl Rothery was previously seen in the Hallmark holiday films ‘Road to Christmas’ (2018), ‘A Bramble House Christmas,’ (2017), and ‘The Wishing Tree’ (2012). Teryl was also a cast member on ‘Cedar Cove’ from 2013 to 2015 as Grace Sherman. Eagle-eyed ‘Aurora Teagarden Mysteries’ fans may have seen the actress in the Hallmark & Mysteries Channels popular TV movie. Teryl has guest-starred on ‘Good Witch’ as Meredith Mitchell.
