Bold And The Beautiful News: Ashley Jones Is Headed To Prime-Time

It looks like this daytime television star is moving on up! And by up, we mean prime-time television! There are new reports that say The Bold and the Beautiful star Ashley Jones (Bridget Forrester) has just landed herself a new role on an exciting prime-time series.

Jones is also known for her roles on General Hospital and The Young and the Restless. We’ve got all of the details that you need to know right here.

According to reports, the soap star will play a role in an episode of Diggstown Season 2. Her character’s name is Tara Prescott. The series stars former General Hospital star Vinessa Antoine (Jordan Ashford) as Marcie Diggs.

While she definitely enjoys her day job, she certainly doesn’t like having to fight for a role with several dozen people every other week.

“I call that the business side of it, and that is the most brutal, awful part,” Jones said. “I hate it, I hate it, I hate it. And I can’t believe that somehow it hasn’t really chipped away at me that much, because you just go on so many.”

Bold And The Beautiful News – Jones Keeps Herself Busy With Lots Of Work

Jones added that while she certainly does keep herself busy, there’s a lot that she has to do to get where she is.

“People say, ‘Well, you book a lot.’ And I’m like, ‘Yes, but for every job I get, there’s like 50 others that I don’t get.’ So, you have to really be persistent and persevere and just know that the right role for you will come along. But that’s the hardest part, for sure. Auditioning is the biggest challenge of doing what we all do.”

With that said, we can’t wait to see Jones in her new role. Of course, we also can’t wait until we get to see her on The Bold and the Beautiful again, too!
