Bold and The Beautiful News: Denise Richards' Exciting New GigDenise Richards, who is known for her role as Shauna Fulton on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” lands an exciting gig on a Lifetime movie titled “The Secret Life of Cheerleaders.” Richards will portray the role of Candice, an overly ambitious mother, who insists that her daughter Ava (Savannah May) join the cheerleading squad in her new school.

But it is not all glitz and glamour for the transfer student. Katrina (Alexandria DeBerry), the head-cheerleader and Homecoming Queen, puts her squad in a brutal initiation process that will have a huge impact on Ava’s life at school and at home.

The film is the first of the five movies that are part of Lifetime’s Cheer, Rally, Kill end-of-summer movie line-up that showcase the darker side of cheerleading and will air between September 2 and September 15. “The Secret Life of Cheerleaders” is directed by Peter Sullivan, whose past works include “Secret Obsession” and Christmas Made to Order.” It was written by Anna White, who also penned “Sister of the Bride” and “Christmas Wonderland.” “The Secret Life of Cheerleaders” is set to air on Labor Day Weekend, Monday September 2, at 8:00 PM EST.

The network’s next movie, which will be aired on September 7, is titled “Identity Theft of a Cheerleader.” The story focuses on Vicky who drops out of school and hits rock bottom as an adult. She tries to go back to her high school life by stealing the life of a cheerleader, so she could get a do-over and be on top of the pyramid.

On September 8, “The Wrong Cheerleader” starring Christine Prosperi as Becky will be on screen. The story will revolve on Becky who finally gets a chance to try out for the cheerleading team but things go wrong after she meets Rob (David Mez) as their love story suddenly takes a turn and becomes a nightmare.

“The Cheerleader Escort” will air on September 14 and will star Alexandra Beaton and Damon Runyan. The last movie, “Undercover Cheerleader” will air on September 15 and it will feature Kayla Wallace, who is known for her role in “The Good Doctor.”
