Bold And The Beautiful News: Don Diamont Opens Up About His Leading Ladies

Don Diamont has been with “The Bold and the Beautiful” since 2009 as Bill Spencer Jr. Throughout his stint, he’s been lucky to be paired with amazing actresses like Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, Heather Tom, and Kelly Lang. The actor has a lot of good things to say about his leading ladies.

He described Jacqui as a co-star who is down to earth and has a good sense of humor. “She’s beautiful and talented, so she could very easily fall into that trap, and yet she doesn’t ever take herself too seriously,” Diamont added.

He also regarded Tom and Lang in a similar manner. “Each one of them has a really great sense of humor and takes the work very seriously without taking themselves too seriously. There are more similarities between all three of them in that way than differences, I think,” he explained.

Bold And The Beautiful News – Diamont’s Career

Before becoming a successful actor, Diamont first rose to prominence as a model. He then landed his first major acting role on “Days of Our Lives” as Carlo Forenza back in 1984. He was hired by Ken Corday and he remained part of the cast for one year.

He then showed “The Young and the Restless” back in 1985 and portrayed Brad Carlton until 1996. He reprised his role in 1998 and remained until 2009 when his character was killed off.

On that same year, Diamont joined the cast of “The Bold and the Beautiful” where he portrayed Bill Spencer Jr. He made his debut on May 12, 2009. Bradley Bell, the show’s executive producer and headwriter, had nothing but good things to say about the actor.

He described Diamont as “a versatile actor with a vast range of talent.” “It is my pleasure to welcome him to B&B. He has also expressed an interest in being a script writer,” he added.

Aside from his impeccable acting skills, there’s no denying that Diamont is an extremely good looking guy. In 2006, he was hailed as the Sexiest Soap Hunks of All Time list at the Shrine to the Soap Hunks.

For those who didn’t know, he was also a cover model for Playgirl magazine, in 1988 and 1995. In 2009, People Magazine dubbed him as the “Sexiest Veteran Soap Actor.”
