In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Mosley recalled her pregnancy and said it was smooth sailing. She didn’t have any problems aside from having some nausea at first and feeling tired all the time. She left “The Bold and The Beautiful” temporarily because she had to slow down. However, she was still able to do a play until she was eight months pregnant.
She welcomed her daughter with partner John Rogers at home. Her birthing process was all natural, with no drugs involved. She had the help of her doula, two midwives, which she chose when she was at 37 weeks, and of course, with John by her side. She managed to get to five centimetres dilated on her own but John insisted that they call her midwife.
After giving birth, she was asked to stay in bed and rest for two weeks. She received Roger’s full support. He constantly leaves food and water at the side of her bed in the middle of the night so she’d have something to munch on if she’s hungry.
When she finally got out of bed and had fully recovered, she couldn’t wait to bring Aurora to the set. She was also grateful for all the support she got from the cast and crew of “The Bold and The Beautiful.”

“They absolutely love her. It’s such a beautiful family at BOLD, starting with Brad [Bell, executive producer/head writer]. He has been nothing but supportive from the very beginning. They threw me the most beautiful shower before she was born. They were so excited and gave me great tips about being a mom. It’s just been awesome to bring her to set. People have been so loving and willing to hold her when I was getting blocking and things like that. It’s a really great family.”
Aurora’s birth was also very emotional for Mosley’s family. A few weeks before she was born, Mosley’s niece, Lilia Sophia, died because of a heart problem. At first, Mosley kept on asking herself, “How am I going to pull myself together to have this baby?”
It was her sister, Alex, who made her realize that she can do it after telling her that Aurora’s birth will help heal their family, and it did. Mosley lovingly said, “Aurora gives me hope. Looking at her, and seeing the purity and bliss in her eyes, and the way that she trusts people, I wish for more of that.”
