Known as Brooke Logan on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Lang said she “hated all the different groups” at a high school in Carmel, California. During the three long years that she spent on that school, she admitted that she didn’t fit in, per Soaps In Depth.
“There were the surfers, there were the cowboys, there were the cheerleaders — which I just really didn’t get into at all,” she recalled. “And then there was me. I tended to keep to myself and focus on my school work.”
If there’s one thing she loved during her stay, it was as sports. She spent her afternoons doing extracurricular activities. “I was always on some kind of team, be it gymnastics, diving, track, field hockey or softball,” she shared. “Sports were my fun!” And judging from her continued activities, they still are!
Lang doesn’t come from an ordinary family. She’s the daughter of Olympic ski jumper Keith R. Wegeman. She comes from a family of actors, too. Her mother is actress Judith Lang and she is the granddaughter of Charles Lang, the Oscar winning cinematographer. With her impeccable acting skills, Lang has received several nominations, especially for her portrayal of Brooke on “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Lang landed her first acting role back in 1979 when she was caste in the movie “Skatetown.” After that, her career started to take off as she began to book various guest appearances in different TV series. These include “The Powers of Matthew Star,” “Masquerade,” “Ripide,” “Happy Days,” “The Fall Guy,” and “1st & Ten.”
She also appeared in music videos like Alabama’s “There’s No Way,” The Beach Boys’ “Getcha Back,” “and “It’s Getting’ Late.” She was offered the role of Brooke Logan on the CBS soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful,” in 1987. Since her debut in the sudser, Lang has been part of several major storylines. She was paired with Ronn Moss, who played Ridge Forrester and a love triangle between her alter ego, Brooke, Ridge, and Taylor Hayes, who was portrayed by Hunter Tylo.
