On “The Bold & The Beautiful,” viewers have been kept on the edge of their seats lately by none-other than Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). He’s been pulling all the strings to make sure that he gets what he wants for himself and what’s best for his son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).
This time, he believes that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is just what they both need. Viewers may recall that Thomas found a way to destroy her marriage and manipulate her to marry him instead. Now that he already has his hands on the only person he wants to have in the world, he’s not about to let anyone get in the way, even if it means killing someone.
This might come as a surprise to some, but according to Atkinson, his alter-ego just wants what’s best for him and his son after Caroline’s death.
Bold And The Beautiful News – Thomas Forrester Wants To Help His Son
“He was trying to stop his son from agonizing every night about his mother,” Atkinson told CBS Soaps In Depth. “His mind is 100 percent set on making a good life for his son and getting him over that tragedy, which means steering him toward Hope.”
He managed to convince Hope that she should be part of their family and become Douglas’ mother. Atkinson explained that his character believes that everything he has done was right.
“Parents do whatever they can for their children, and I think that’s what’s led him to some dark places,” he explained. “When you get a Forrester set on something, they don’t let go easily.”
Bold And The Beautiful News – Atkinson Understands Where He’s Coming From
The actor added that he understands where his character is coming from. Thomas has been through a lot since his younger years. He grew up feeling neglected by his father, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and even saw him with different women.
Back then, he realized what his father’s actions did to their family. The actor shared, “He wants to make sure his child and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) children each have two parents in the house, so the next generation can move forward in the best possible way.”

With everything he’s done, it’s only natural for some fans to hate him. But the actor isn’t fazed by the flack his character receives from viewers of the show.
“That doesn’t bother me at all. As long as I’m doing something intriguing — good or bad — then I’m having some fun and doing my job. Some fans might be upset about what Thomas is doing, but none of them has been mean-spirited.”

Yes he will, even if has to be his son and manipulate him, he’s already trying to stop Douglas from saying anything. I know that he’ll hurt Liam from getting to Hope or Flo. It will be interesting
Thomas will try, but Liam will probably stop him and its about time, this story line has drug out too long. Time to see what is going to happen to Beth, Douglas and Thomas

Grinning as Emma lay burning to death in a car is not mean spirited? The actor is as loco as Thomas is dangerous and sociopathic.
Thomas needs to go to jail i think he killed Caroline as well. I can’t stand him and the way they made Hope seem so hopeless and fall for Thomas schemes is hard to watch.
