Bold And The Beautiful News: Schae Harrison Forced To Quit Job Amid Chronic Illnesses – Darla Actress Needs Help!

“The Bold and the Beautiful” star Schae Harrison is in need of financial assistance after she was forced to quit working as she suffers from chronic illnesses. Schae, who played Darla Einstein Forrester, was diagnosed with Chronic Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Soaps.com reports that due to her condition, she had to quit her role as a police officer on TV series, “Castle.” She can no longer work long hours and is often on a wheelchair now.

Schae’s friend, Cathy Tomas, has set up a GoFundMe campaign for Harrison and appealed to fans of “The Bold and the Beautiful” to give the star a helping hand. Tomas explained that Schae’s symptoms started two years ago but it took a while before she was formally diagnosed. Schae is on medication, but without a job, her savings have been drained. Paying for her medical expenses and taking care of her son have become difficult.

“She loves Haven more than anything and her heart is broken that he’s suffering because of her illness,” Tomas wrote.

Her social security disability claim case is yet to be heard this April, although it was filed two years ago. The campaign aims to raise $8,000 to pay for medical bills and other expenses until her disability is approved.

Chronic fibromyalgia affects more than 10 million Americans and its symptoms include fatigue, depression, stiffness, cognitive difficulties, and reflux. Chronic fatigue syndrome, which affects over a million Americans, makes it difficult for a person to perform everyday tasks, as the symptoms include exhaustion, dizziness, muscle pain, headache and recurring sore throat. Both illnesses most commonly strike women.

Schae Harrison played Darla, Sally Spectra’s feisty assistant, for 20 years until she left in 2006 when Darla was killed by Taylor. She had recurring appearances as an astral image to her daughter Aly (Ashlyn Pearce) in 2007, 2014 and 2015. Schae also portrayed Police Officer Velasquez on “Castle” in 2011 and 2015.
