Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) has already declared himself the winner on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) threat provoked a telling reveal that was unexpected.

Just as Thomas’ Fashion Showdown is beginning at Forrester Creations, where Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) line is battling against Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), B&B has also skillfully pitted Thomas against Liam. Soap fans could offer legitimate wagers as to who will win either battle, with the personal confrontation between Thomas and Liam surely being the more compelling draw.

Thomas is a worthy opponent who can’t be underestimated because he plays dirty and will literally do anything, including breaking laws and shrugging off any sense of morality in order to win. Liam is no longer the cautious man. What happened to his daughter, Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson), changed him forever.

It’s a great idea to have Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) designing for Steffy, while Hope grudgingly agrees to have Thomas sketch what could be her future fashion vision. The interplay between that quartet, which doesn’t even include Liam, would be its own major storyline if it weren’t overshadowed by the intense throw-down Thomas has issued to Liam.

Steffy is hoping that buyers chose her line at the upcoming Forrester Creations competition. But she also wants her brother to make progress, even though she’s secretly working with Liam and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), who’s Thomas’ apparent new girlfriend and suggested Hope For The Future model.

B&B Spoilers – Liam Spencer Must Remain Disciplined

Viewers saw the type of discipline Liam will need to exhibit. When Thomas stunningly showed his entire hand, in admitting that he still believes Hope will eventually return to him, Liam didn’t explode in rage. Instead he let Thomas keep talking, which was very wise.

Thomas didn’t grasp that he’d given his enemy crucial information. Along with that, Atkinson’s incredibly well-played character projected the haughty condescension of someone who believed that Liam was his complete inferior.

Just as Steffy believes that Liam isn’t allowing any space for Thomas to redeem himself, Thomas is telegraphing a zero percent chance that Liam is smart. Steffy’s thought was based on a good-hearted hope that her brother might be getting better. Thomas projected who he is himself onto Liam, which affirmed existing mental health issues.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester’s Unpredictability A Major Factor

No daytime observer can discount Thomas, as he’s written Liam off. Atkinson’s character has cheated death, totally avoided legal justice, is working closely with the woman he believes he loves and had Hope offer to become Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) legal co-parent.

Liam is aware that his nemesis has no boundaries and doesn’t yet have a force in his life that applies consequences to his destructive actions. Clifton’s character must not only act as an avenger, he needs to go all the way to the finish line if there’s any hope (wink)
of either defeating, or at least neutralizing Thomas.
