There was no reason for Ridge to withhold the truth from Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), though it’s understandable why he did. Considering the soapy swirl connected to Shauna Fulton’s (Denise Richards) daughter, Ridge thought it best to conceal his tuck-in.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Shauna Fulton’s Multiple Opportunities

Ridge’s stance is softening on Shauna. Initially, he wanted nothing to do with her, or her daughter, which matched his wife’s view.

However, his choosing not to speak against Flo’s immunity deal caused Shauna to begin developing her feelings. It’s not that she merely sees Ridge as an attractive catch, but that Shauna is creating an emotional attachment to the man who she believes gave Flo a second chance in life.

It’s natural that any parent would be protective of their only child. Considering that Storm Logan (William deVry) passed away years ago, as B&B reminded viewers of through a series of purposeful flashback scenes, and that no step father is in the picture, Ridge is projected as more than a potential romantic partner.

Thomas continues to create problems for his father. With Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) rarely around, Ridge has nearly the full weight of handling Thomas on his shoulders.

Acting more Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) age than his own, Thomas threatened Flo in the past, among others, and just told Brooke off, when his father wasn’t around. Old and new problems will soon intersect as a result.

Ridge continues to tell Brooke that they can rely on their love as a partial remedy to work through these serious family issues. But this hot button Shauna dilemma will serve as its own potentially destructive dynamic.

Ridge already ran out to Bikini Bar. Brooke probably wouldn’t leave her own home if she opts to take a break from Ridge, instead forcing his exit. But time apart may not be enough to save the most recent edition of ‘Bridge’. No, Brooke will expect Ridge to back her when he learns about Thomas’ threat. Whether she expects a full explanation and apology regarding what happened, or didn’t actually happen with Shauna is a different story.
