Bold and the Beautiful Recap and Spoilers Friday May 15: Spectra Fashion Show Shenanigans, Sally Betrays Thomas

On Friday, May 15, 2020, champagne is flowing as The Bold & the Beautiful closes out Fashion Week with a Spectra fashion show from 2017. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) wonders why her models aren’t dressed yet. Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) says that it’s a precautionary measure. Sally warns her Grams that as soon as the designs are unveiled, Coco Spectra (Courtney Grosbeck) will know they were stolen from Forrester Creations. Shirley shushes Sally: loose lips sink ships. Shirley encourages Sally to think of the gowns as her designs with a little help from her friends.

Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fode) shows R.J. Forrester (Anthony Turpel) a design inspired by Sally. They wonder how Sally’s show is going. R.J. asks if Thomas and Sally are really over. Thomas says that’s what Sally wants. Coco sends R.J. a flirty text. Thomas hopes Sally’s hard work pays off. R.J. urges Thomas to go to the show and support Sally.

Sally tells C.J. Garrison (Mick Cain) that they’ll make his mother proud. He says that, if the show goes south, the only option is to sell the company.

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) plans to build Spencer towers and renovate the neighborhood once the Spectra fashion show bombs. Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) warns his father not to count out Spectra. They’ve been down and out and have always managed to come back. Bill says Spectra only survived because the old Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley) was running the operation and they didn’t have Bill to bring them down. Bill tells Wyatt to make sure the wrecking crew is ready to go. He will own the Spectra building by the end of the day. In 24 hours, the building will be rubble.

Wyatt hopes his dad knows what he’s doing. Bill says that Spectra is a rag-tag bunch of dreamers who spent their last dime on a fashion show that is doomed. He’s already locked in Jarrett’s review. Sally and her misfits can’t compete with Forrester Creations.

Sally tells her models that the day will be blazed into fashion history. She encourages them to go out and give it all they’ve got. They chant, “We are Spectra!”

Sally warms up the crowd, introducing the new and spectacular Spectra Fashions. Coco eyes the gowns with suspicion. The dresses remind her of something the Forresters would design. Coco puts it together that the designs are stolen.

Bill calls Jarrett to check on the show. Jarrett says that the gowns are spectacular. He has a hunch he needs to investigate. The designs are a product of refinement and restraint reeking of Forrester Creations.

Sally reminisces about kissing Thomas. R.J. dreams about kissing Coco. Shirley tells Sally they knocked it out of the ballpark. Sally will be the new face of couture fashion. Sally takes a victory lap and spots Thomas at the end of the runway. Thomas can’t believe the designs he sees. He locks eyes with the woman who betrayed him.
