Bold and the Beautiful Recap Friday October 11: Shauna Shocks Katie’s Family – Flo’s Secret Is Out

On the Friday, October 11, 2019, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, the transplant is underway. Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) hopes that Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) doesn’t have a reason to regret giving her kidney to Katie Logan (Heather Tom). A proud Shauna greets her daughter as she awakens in recovery. Dr. Choi (Martin Yu) tells Flo that she did a very generous thing for her aunt.

As Katie’s family waits anxiously for news on her condition, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) wishes she could thank the donor in person. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will always be in the donor’s debt for giving him Katie back.

Brooke and Bill comfort Will Spencer (Finnegan George), who worries that his mommy won’t wake up. Katie is the strongest person they know. Bill is nervous, but confident that the surgery will work. He thanks Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) for being there to support him.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Dr. Davis Gives The Family Good News

Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) wonders if Shauna helped a drunken Ridge in order to score points with Brooke. Brooke says that there’s no way Shauna could score points with her. She has had it with the Fultons—she will never forgive them for anything. Hope says that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is lucky to have Brooke in his life and hopes that Shauna understands that.

Dr. Davis (Tisha Campbell) gives the family good news: the transplant went smoothly. The risk of complete rejection of a donor organ is rare. The doctors will monitor Katie closely to see how well she responds to the meds. Katie wakes to the eager faces of her son and Bill. Will tells her that she’s going to be okay. Bill says mommy always keeps her promises.

Katie wants to meet the person who gave her her life back. Camille (Stephanie Maura Sanchez), the independent living donor advocate, informs Shauna and Flo that Katie wants to meet her donor. Shauna encourages her daughter to tell the Logans the truth. The advocate tells Katie that the donor agreed to meet her.

Shauna walks boldly into Katie’s hospital room. The Logans, Forresters, and Spencers threaten to throw her out. She wishes that seeing her didn’t upset them so much. She reminds them that their family includes Flo.
