Bold and the Beautiful Recap Monday January 6: Zoe Spies On Collin And Steffy, Angry Hope Confronts Thomas

The Monday, January 6, 2020, The Bold and the Beautiful, opens with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) wondering whether Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) relationship with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) is real. Steffy believes that Thomas is happy now and won’t be a problem for Hope anymore.

Thomas threatens Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), telling him to look into the eyes of his executioner. Thomas can’t wait to bring Hope, Steffy, and the kids to Liam’s gravesite. Thomas still holds a grudge against Liam for the way he treated Steffy and Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington). Liam accuses Thomas of using Kelly to take the spotlight off of Thomas’ obsession with Hope. Thomas puts Liam on notice: he will never stop defending his sister, Hope, or the kids. Thomas will always be a part of Hope’s life and there’s nothing Liam can do about it.

Zoe eavesdrops as a new man flirts with Steffy. Collin (Oli Green) brings a supply of fabric for Steffy and asks her out for drinks. Steffy is flattered but focused on her line.

Zoe wonders whether Steffy will fire her after the fashion showdown. Since Zoe was true to her word and provided intel on Thomas, Steffy promises to hold up her end of the deal and allow Zoe to stay on at Forrester Creations. Steffy tells Zoe that she trusts her just as Thomas walks in Steffy’s office. Steffy interrogates the new couple on the status of their relationship and whether they’ll move in together. Thomas doesn’t mind everyone knowing how much he cares about Zoe. Steffy and Zoe fall for Thomas’ act, believing that he’s a changed man.

Liam returns to Spencer Publications, rattled by his confrontation with Thomas. He tells Hope that Thomas is faking the new girlfriend and is still the same old psychopath. Thomas admitted that he believes that Hope’s future is with him and not Liam. Thomas called him a pathetic, weak, self-righteous coward who should still be living with Steffy and Kelly. Liam isn’t worried about Thomas’ insults, but fears the rage percolating beneath the surface. Thomas has deceived everyone into believing he’s changed, but appears to be more dangerous than ever.

Hope is disgusted that she gave Thomas the benefit of the doubt. How can he be so delusional and disrespectful? She’s done with his threats and lies. Hope confronts Thomas who spins his fight with Liam. Liam is overreacting to his threats.

Thomas is merely looking out for the interests of Hope, Steffy, and the kids. He warns Hope that Liam is stringing her along with no commitment and no wedding date. Thomas is concerned about her happiness and Liam hates him for calling him out on his feelings for Steffy. Liam is still in love with Steffy. Thomas gives Hope pause when he asks if she really wants to share Liam with Steffy for the rest of her life.

Steffy visits Liam at Spencer Publications. She feels bad for doubting her brother when he’s making healthy changes. Liam fills her in on his fight with Thomas. Thomas can’t wait to see Liam dead.
