Katie pops the champagne at a gathering of Hope Logan (Kimberly Matula), Liam, and Bill. Liam irritates Bill by turning down a drink. Katie asks Bill and Liam to try to get along. Bill won’t allow Liam to reject him. Liam found his father and must live with the consequences.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Bill Blames Liam’s Mom For DNA Lies
Bill tells Liam that his mother was a piece of work. Bill admits that he actually cared about Kelly Hopkins, but she made the choice to ignore Bill’s calls and not to tell him about baby Liam. Bill did not abandon Liam. Bill wonders why Liam’s mother, on her deathbed, would send Liam on a paternal scavenger hunt instead of giving him Bill’s name.
Liam defends his mother. Conversation was not a possibility when she was dying of Stage IV breast cancer after chemotherapy failed. She could only give him a folder with clippings about Forrester Creations and tell him to go there for answers. In her dying moments, she said, “Handsome is as handsome does.” Bill seems stunned by the revelation but claims that Kelly really meant that she loved Liam.
Bill blasts Liam for not seeking him out earlier when he could have helped Liam. An angry Bill tells Liam that he should report to the IT department in a suit and tie and not expect preferential treatment because of who he is. Bill promises that the IT department will drive Liam even harder.

Liam questions Bill’s idea of fatherhood. When Bill mocks Liam, asking him if he should come read him a bedtime story, Liam punches his newfound dad. Bill is proud of his son’s right hook. Maybe Liam is a Spencer after all.
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thorne Makes Shocking Announcement
Hope wonders what she would do if her father appeared. Katie is amazed that Hope can be friends with Liam after what Bill’s company did to them. Katie claims Bill isn’t responsible for plastering their photos on magazines.
Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon) announces to his mother and brother that he is Alexandria Forrester’s (Ashlyn Pearce) father and Bill Spencer is Liam’s father. Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) proposes they show Liam a little charity for the harsh punishment of being Bill’s son. Ridge Forrester (Ron Moss) is relieved, but Thorne is disappointed. Ever since Darla Forrester’s (Schae Harrison) death, he has been searching for a purpose. Thorne believes his time for raising a family is over.

Oliver Jones (Zack Conroy) assures Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that her brother doesn’t hate her. She wonders if she’s controlling. She says that all her tears and striving aren’t worth it—she’ll survive even if Forrester Creations go under and Bill runs the place.
Oliver packs his belongings, prepared to leave Forrester with his tail between his legs. Steffy demands he stay. He isn’t fired and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) is just stepping back from the company while the media frenzy surrounding their scandal dies down. Oliver believes that Hope has finally allowed him back in her heart.
