Bold and the Beautiful Recap & Spoilers Tuesday June 2: Sheila Carter Takes Hostages, Poisons Herself

On Tuesday, June 2, 2020, Classic Clashes Week continues with a 1995 rebroadcast of The Bold & The Beautiful. It’s a deadly showdown as Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) holds the Forresters, Dr. James Warwick (Ian Buchanan), and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) at gunpoint. Sheila tells Lauren that it’s her day to die. Ridge Forrester (Ron Moss) reminds Sheila that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) has been a friend to her. Sheila calls Brooke an unfortunate victim.

Sheila blames Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) for driving her to madness. She never had a chance with Eric Forrester (John McCook) because of Stephanie’s incessant slander and lies. Killing Stephanie will be sweet pleasure. Sheila separates Stephanie from the others.

Ridge and Brooke step in front of Stephanie. If Sheila wants to kill Stephanie, she’ll have to go through them. Sheila is shocked that Brooke would sacrifice her life after all Stephanie has done to her.

Sheila vows revenge. Ridge says that they’ll have the revenge when she’s arrested and gets a death sentence. Brooke begs Sheila to reconsider. James tells Sheila that, if she lets them go, she can claim insanity. Sheila begins to waver.

Lauren blasts Sheila for kidnapping her child, sleeping with her husband, and extorting money from her. She asks if Sheila could really love herself after killing six people. Lauren taunts her.

Sheila drops the gun and threatens to drink poison. She could never survive in prison. They all beg her not to drink the poison. She wonders if she was wrong about them. Maybe they’re good people. She drinks the poison and collapses. She asks Eric to forgive her. Eric says he does. As she “dies,” Sheila claims that all she ever wanted was to be loved and to love.

Jack Hamilton (Chris Robinson) tells his daughter that, if Ridge really loves her, he’ll call. Jack is bothered that Ridge married Brooke so quickly after Taylor Forrester (Hunter Tylo) allegedly died. Taylor admits that Ridge could love Brooke as much as he loves her, but, until Ridge says otherwise, Taylor is still his wife.

Darla Forrester (Schae Harrison) brings Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley) a new hairstylist. Sally wants a good old-fashioned hairdresser who understands teasing, not a purple-haired teeny-bopper stylist to the stars. Gladys Pope (Phyllis Diller) pops in. Sally’s hair reminds her of the burning bush and the Ten Commandments. Sally is not amused, calling Gladys a charlatan.

She gets Sally’s attention when she says that she’s been doing Taylor’s hair for weeks, because Taylor is alive and living with her father. She was not on the plane that crashed but was mugged in an airport restroom and in a coma. Sally calls Jack’s house to check out Gladys’ story and is stunned when she hears Taylor’s voice. Taylor Forrester is alive!
