Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) is perplexed that all the food is missing from the refrigerator in the cabin. Eric Forrester (John McCook) is nearly frostbitten after bringing in wood from the snow. A grumpy Eric vows to sell the cabin—he’s too old to be chopping wood. Stephanie loves the cabin and refuses to sell.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is too nervous to go in the cabin with Stephanie by herself given their track record. Ridge Forrester (Ron Moss) says that Stephanie likes Brooke now. Inside they find Stephanie and Eric still bickering about the food and the cabin.

Eric calls a meeting to discuss his idea to open a line of retail shops. They’re not leaving until they make unanimous decisions about the future of Forrester Creations. Brooke thinks that Popeye may sell Forrester Originals through the Jackie M. boutiques. Eric is irritated that Brooke didn’t consult him before checking into it. Ridge volleys the idea of selling their line in department stores—it worked for Martha Stewart.
Brooke and Stephanie snipe about their past shenanigans in the cabin. Stephanie says that nothing ever changes with Brooke. Once a caterer’s daughter, always a caterer’s daughter. Brooke fumes when Stephanie calls her common. Brooke goes outside while Stephanie retreats to the bedroom, leaving Ridge and Eric to wonder what just happened and to chase after their women.

Eric chides Stephanie for tormenting Brooke. Stephanie wonders why Eric never looks at her the way he looks at Brooke. Eric says that he does but Stephanie never notices. Stephanie is scared to start this new adventure. She encourages him to let the kids handle the venture so he won’t work himself into a frazzle and have a heart attack. When will she have time to be the wife he’s always wanted her to be?
CBS Bold and the Beautiful Updates: Eric Forrester Romances Stephanie
Stephanie wants to sit back and enjoy all the money they’ve made. Eric takes her hand and suggests that they charter a yacht to see the fjords in Chile. Stephanie has always wanted to learn how to fly a helicopter. Eric thinks it’s a lot safer to mortgage everything to the hilt and carry on—they’re not the retiree types.
Stephanie agrees with Eric that they will move forward with spearheading the retail stores. They erupt into a pillow fight.
Ridge finds Brooke sitting by herself in the snow. She says that a severe case of frostbite is better than sharing the same room with Stephanie. Ridge says that Brooke should have asked him before inquiring about the boutiques. Brooke says that Ridge and Stephanie should have asked her before they went on TV and called Jackie Marone (Lesley-Anne Down) a whore. Brooke can’t stay married to him if he keeps siding with his mother.

Ridge fears the retail plan will bankrupt them. Brooke says that the company is Eric’s to risk. Suddenly, a naked Eric begins to throw feathers from the pillows out the window. The feathers fall on Ridge and Brooke below. Brooke and Ridge climb the ladder to their bedroom window and see his parents getting frisky.

Later, Eric reminisces about the first time Stephanie met Brooke. Brooke was working for her mother at a Forrester party. He thinks back on working with his son at fashion shows and being cheered on by Stephanie.
Eric encourages them to stay. Stephanie is in a much better mood. She says that she’s decided to give Eric what he wants for his retail stores. Eric reminds his son that they’ve done 5,000 pieces together as a team. Brooke and Ridge agree to the venture.
Brooke says that it’s just the four of them to the bitter end. Stephanie cringes as Brooke hugs and kisses her. Brooke says she knows that Stephanie loves her. Stephanie looks into the camera and smiles.
