Bold and the Beautiful Recap Thursday December 19: Ridge And Eric Pressure Hope To Work With Thomas

The Thursday, December 19, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful opens with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) begging Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to hire Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) at Forrester Creations so she can spy on Steffy’s brother. Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) apologizes for assuming that the romantic candlelight setup in Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) office was for her and attacking him.

Secretly, she’s skeptical that Thomas is really dating Zoe. Thomas claims that he is accepting reality and moving forward without Hope. Liam zones out on a business meeting with his brother. Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) wants to know what’s going on.

B&B Spoilers– Liam Spencer Fears Thomas Forrester Is Up To No Good

Liam says that Thomas is manipulating Hope again by trying to convince her that working together is in the best interest of Hope for the Future. Liam doesn’t buy Thomas’ “I’m a new man” act. Wyatt plays devil’s advocate: Maybe Thomas is capable of change. After all, Liam never believed that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) could clean up his act and, now, here Liam is working with his father at Spencer Publications.

B&B spoilers state that Liam clues Wyatt in on his plan to spy on Thomas. Steffy will hire Zoe as a plant at Forrester in order to discover the truth about Thomas. Liam believes that, with Zoe’s help, everyone will realize that Thomas is just as obsessed and dangerous as ever.

Bold & Beautiful Spoilers– Eric & Ridge Forrester Pressure Hope Logan

Eric Forrester (John McCook), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and Steffy are in agreement that Hope needs to work with Thomas in order to make Hope for the Future a true contender in the fashion showdown. Eric believes a partnership between Thomas and Hope will help heal the family. Steffy continues to doubt her brother’s intentions. Eric, Ridge, and Steffy interrupt Thomas and Hope’s conversation before Hope can tell him how she really feels about him dating Zoe.

The Forrester men gang up on Hope to convince her to use Thomas as her designer. Thomas goes to bat for Zoe, pleading with the Forresters to have compassion and forgive and rehire her. Hope explodes—how can they forget and forgive all the terrible things Thomas and Zoe did?

Zoe stood in silence while Hope and Steffy suffered. Zoe expresses her remorse and tearfully asks the Forresters to allow her to redeem herself. Ridge leaves the hiring decision to his daughter. Steffy chastises Zoe for perpetuating the lie about her daughter but agrees to give her a second chance. Steffy decides that hiring Zoe is what needs to be done to move forward and to get to the truth about Thomas.
