Bold and the Beautiful Recap Tuesday 17: Hope Catches Thomas With Zoe

The Tuesday, December 17, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful opens with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) asking Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) to spy on Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). They need to know whether Thomas is obsessed in a way that’s dangerous. Liam is worried that his instincts about Thomas are dead on.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) doesn’t trust Zoe and refuses to hire her back. Zoe promises that she would do anything to go back to Forrester Creations and make up for what she’s done. She wants to help Steffy put her family back together. Zoe doesn’t believe Thomas is a threat, but his focus on Hope worries her and she wants him for herself.

Bold and the Beautiful Recap – Thomas Summons Vinny

Thomas summons Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) to his office. Vinny understands why Hope turned his designs down given all that Thomas did to her. Where Hope’s concerned, Thomas gets a little intense. Vinny warns him not to ruin his progress by getting hooked into his ex. Thomas believes that the fashion showdown could fix everything for his career and for his relationship with Hope.

Thomas changes his strategy to land Hope. He decides to take a step back and let Hope come to him. Vinny doesn’t like Thomas’ new tactic to play hard to get.

Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) lament the Forrester divorce. Quinn is flattered when Hope asks her to design for Hope for the Future, but declines. Thomas is the man for the job. Hope explains that she may never be ready to work on a team with Thomas again.

Hope strikes out again when she asks Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to be her designer. Steffy gloats: Sally is already designing for her collection. Sally suggests that Hope work with Thomas.

Bold and the Beautiful Recap – Hope Catches Thomas With Zoe

Quinn blabs to Thomas that Hope is desperate for a designer and sought her help. Quinn encourages him to ask Hope again to work with him.

Liam pesters Steffy to agree to his plan to plant Zoe as a spy at Forrester Creations to discover Thomas’ grand plan.

Hope freaks out when she arrives at Thomas’ office and finds him waiting in the romantic candlelight. She blasts Thomas for using his son and her line to manipulate her feelings. When Zoe arrives, Hope realizes she’s misread the situation: the table for two was for Zoe and Thomas. Thomas tells Hope that he’s moving on with Zoe, but secretly he fantasizes about Hope and fixates on her statement that she was starting to trust him again.
