Bold and the Beautiful Recap Wednesday June 24: Deacon Begs Brooke Not To Marry Whip, Stephanie Unleashes Her Fury

The Wednesday, June 24, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful celebrates Emmy Week, which showcases performances nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award. This throwback episode, which aired in 2002, opens at Forrester Creations. Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) brings down her wrath on Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) for carrying on a clandestine affair behind the back of Bridge Forrester (Ashley Jones). Stephanie realizes, to her horror, that Deacon is the father of Brooke’s baby.

Stephanie calls Brooke a slut for sleeping with her daughter’s husband. Did Bridget turn out to be too beautiful or too much competition for Brooke? Stephanie blasts Deacon for tossing Bridget in the gutter for the whore of Beverly Hills. Brooke slaps Stephanie. Stephanie says, if Brooke wasn’t pregnant, she would kill her right now. She regrets not taking Bridget away from Brooke when she had the chance.

Deacon tells Stephanie to put a sock in it. He and Brooke believed that his marriage to Bridget was over when they slept together. Deacon says that Whip Jones (Rick Hearst) knows the baby isn’t Whip’s and has been blackmailing Brooke with the truth about Deacon. He begs Brooke not to go through with her impending wedding to Whip. Deacon suggests they tell Bridget the truth.

Erica Lovejoy, a.k.a. Mary Warwick (Courtnee Draper), wonders why Zende Dominguez (Daniel Smith) hasn’t called. Meanwhile, Antonio Dominguez (Paolo Benedeti) tells his son that he can call his friend after the party. Antonio is taken aback when young Zende tells him he was going to invite his friend to the party as his friendship date. Kristen Forrester Dominguez (Tracy Melchoir) worries that Zende’s friend would be uncomfortable at a family party. Zende’s mom is unsettled when she learns that a teacher’s aide, who is much older, has captured Zende’s heart.

Erica moons over a photo of Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz) in a fan magazine. She imagines having Rick Forrester (Justin Torkildsen) as a boyfriend.

Deacon paces while Stephanie and Brooke have a private chat. Megan Conley (Maeve Quinlan) wonders why he’s not at the party. He reveals that there probably won’t be a party because Stephanie found out about him and Brooke. Megan warns Deacon not to leave the two women alone. He has no idea what Stephanie is capable of doing to Brooke.

Stephanie says that the only good thing Brooke has ever done is her children, but she threw Bridget away for a cheap roll in the hay. Stephanie doesn’t care about Brooke’s feelings. If Brooke doesn’t give up Deacon for Bridget’s sake, the family will find out and no one will ever forgive her.

Brooke paints herself as a victim. Stephanie forces Brooke to take a good look in the mirror and see that she’s no angel or heroine. She claims Macy Alexander (Bobbie Eakes) is dead because of Brooke. Stephanie threatens Brooke, ordering her to marry Whip and give up Deacon. Stephanie claims Brooke needs Stephanie’s help to pull off the lie. If Brooke chooses Deacon over Bridget, she will destroy the most important relationship she’s ever known.
