Bold And The Beautiful Rumor: Thomas Redeems Himself By Revealing Baby Switch To Hope

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) seems to have backed himself into a corner on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. But he can be written out of it, if B&B pursues a redemptive opportunity.

The staggeringly heinous Beth Spencer (Isabella de Armas and Redford Prindiville) lie has Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) believing that her first-born daughter was stillborn. In point of fact, she was born healthy and is living under the name Phoebe Forrester.

Thomas doesn’t know what Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) and Flo Fulton-Logan (Katrina Bowden) did yet. Flo has a newfound connection to the Logan clan and Thomas is living with his dad, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) in Brooke Logan-Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) home.

Flo will now be working at Forrester Creations, and various points of contact will present themselves moving forward. With those, Thomas can discover what Flo did and then tell Hope the truth.

Until the recast, Thomas hadn’t recently been a one-dimensional character. But B&B may have replaced Pierson Fode with Atkinson as part of a transformation process.

Viewers would have had an even harder time believing Thomas’ devolution if Fode had simply returned and then worked through the scripts that Atkinson is handling. Instead, Atkinson was hired and is tasked with presenting a different version of who Thomas recently was.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Dramatic Event Could Restore Reputation

Surely, the alter ego Atkinson now embodies needs to first recognize that manipulating Hope’s emotions so she would encourage Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to visit Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington), Phoebe, and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was wrong. Then, Thomas will need to redeem himself.

A dramatic event would allow Thomas to regain Hope’s trust. That’s why having him be the one to deliver the Phoebe-is-Beth reveal to Hope would be useful, dramatic, and potentially redemptive. Then, Noelle’s character would see Thomas in a different light.

Hope is very understanding. She gets that Thomas is grieving from the sudden loss of Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey), who wasn’t a romantic partner, but is Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) mother. So if Thomas is able to follow his bizarre marriage request with a heroic act, then he’ll have a chance to restore his reputation.
