Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers and Recap Friday January 31: Katie Comforts Distraught Sally, Brooke Taunts Quinn

The Friday, January 31, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful, opens with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) announcing to a shocked Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) have declared all-out war. Steffy can’t understand why hostilities have flared so suddenly until Ridge reveals that he and Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) kissed and that Brooke believes Quinn set it in motion.

Steffy is disgusted with her father’s actions—why would he kiss the woman who helped Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) destroy Steffy’s life? She reminds her father that he’s still technically married. Ridge is repentant for the way he’s hurt Brooke. Steffy and Ridge believe that Quinn has changed from the cold, calculated woman she was when they met her.

Brooke taunts Quinn about Shauna’s ousting—Quinn will be the next to be thrown out from the Forrester estate. Brooke doesn’t care if Quinn records all the terrible things she says about Quinn because Brooke wants Eric Forrester (John McCook) to know how fiercely she protects him, especially from a black widow like Quinn. Quinn pleads with Brooke to let her and Eric just be and to stop interfering in their marriage.

Quinn smacks Brooke with the news that Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) is seeing Flo again. Brooke reels. She can’t understand how Wyatt could forgive Flo. Brooke can’t forgive Quinn or Shauna or Flo and wants to send them all back to the desert where they belong. Quinn bans Brooke from trying to interfere in Wyatt and Flo’s love life.

Katie Logan (Heather Tom) pays Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) a visit at Spencer Publications and finds Wyatt. Katie is thrilled that her gathering helped spur Wyatt and Flo to reunite. Wyatt worries about how Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is taking the break-up. Katie says that nothing keeps Sally down for long—that girl is a survivor.

Sally tells her doctor about her enormous stress and her dizzy spells. Sally paces while waiting for her doctor to run blood tests. Katie sees Sally in the doctor’s office. Sally confesses that she’s scared about her health. Katie knows all too well about being afraid of being in the hospital. Katie offers to wait with Sally.

Brooke accuses Quinn of sicking Shauna on her husband. Quinn feels sorry for Brooke. Brooke blames everyone else for the fall of her marriage except herself. Quinn pleads with Brooke for peace. They’ll never be friends, but can’t they at least go back to pretending to like each other? Quinn says that, if Brooke doesn’t put an end to the fighting, she will get Ridge and Eric to take her side. Brooke says that Quinn is just as dangerous and deceptive as ever and should stop pretending she belongs in the Forrester family.

When Brooke takes a phone call, Quinn pours herself a drink and adds a little alcohol to Brooke’s glass.
