Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers and Recap Monday February 17: Hope Defends Thomas and Shuts Down Liam

The Monday, February 17, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful opens at Forrester Creations where Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) go another ten rounds over Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Brooke accuses Thomas of using a birthday party for Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) to get to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). Thomas intentionally upset Douglas by kissing Zoe in front of him.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) confronts Thomas after the party. Hope and Zoe interrupt. Thomas tells Liam that his knight-in-shining-armor act is worn out because Hope doesn’t need a man to stand up for her. Thomas pleads that he isn’t a threat to Liam because he has moved on with Zoe. Zoe wants to know if Thomas is just using her. Thomas says that the Hope chapter of his life is over and that, romantically, he’s moved on with Zoe. Liam rolls his eyes in disbelief.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers and Recap – Wyatt Shocked by Sally’s Death Sentence

Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) is shell-shocked over Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) death sentence. Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) comforts him as he tries to absorb the news that Sally is dying. A selfless Flo encourages Wyatt to find a way to spend time with Sally. Flo says that they have the rest of their lives to spend together. Wyatt will do whatever he can to make sure that Sally isn’t alone. Wyatt assures Flo that, no matter what he does with Sally, he will always love Flo. Flo professes her love and kisses him.

Sally continues to struggle with designing. Katie Logan (Heather Tom) pesters Sally to schedule a follow-up doctor’s appointment. She won’t let Sally give up without a fight. Sally doesn’t want to waste time with meaningless treatment. Katie tells Sally that she was miserable when she had postpartum depression and pushed her friends and family away. Reaching out to them made the burden of her kidney transplant so much easier to bear. Sally insists on managing her illness without help. Sally suddenly has a severe headache and nearly collapses in Katie’s arms.

Ridge demands to know why Brooke can’t forgive his son. No matter what Thomas does, he can’t win with Brooke. Ridge believes Thomas is a changed man. Thomas overhears Brooke say that she won’t ever be able to trust him again. Brooke tells Thomas that he’s the reason she and Ridge can’t be together. Thomas is also at fault for breaking up Hope and Liam. She accuses Thomas of kissing Zoe in order to play on Douglas’ fear that he will lose his mother. Brooke is disgusted that Thomas is using Douglas as a pawn. Brooke warns Ridge that he will find out soon enough that she was right about Thomas all along.

Liam tries to convince Hope that Thomas is manipulating her. Hope is insulted that Liam thinks she’s naive and can’t take care of herself. Hope accuses Liam of being obsessed with Thomas. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is keeping them apart, not Thomas. Hope defends Thomas. She can count on Thomas not to cheat on her, which is more than she can say for Liam. Liam could never be fully committed to her. Liam begs her not to let Thomas suck her in with his lies. Liam realizes that his worst fear is coming true—Thomas is getting to Hope.
