Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers and Recap Tuesday February 18: Hope Vows To Stay With Douglas, Vinny Snaps At Thomas

The Tuesday, February 18, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful opens at Forrester Creations where Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is trying to get through to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Hope doesn’t understand that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is still dangerous and can’t be trusted.

Liam is afraid for Hope. She puts her foot down—she can take care of herself. Liam reminds Hope of the suffering Thomas caused when he kept their daughter away from them. Hope believes that Thomas is trying to be a better person and a better father. Liam says that Thomas is using Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) to reclaim Hope.

Liam wants Hope to ask herself whether her love for Douglas has given her permission to lie to herself about Thomas. Hope won’t answer the question. She doesn’t want to talk about Thomas anymore. Liam shattered their family when he kissed Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Liam apologizes for hurting Hope, but begs her to see that it’s Thomas who is driving a wedge between them and exploiting his son for his own selfish purposes. Liam vows to expose Thomas one way or another.

Thomas and Zoe make out at work. Zoe thanks Thomas for the birthday party and earrings he gave her. He makes her feel like she’s the center of his world. Douglas visits Thomas and demands to know why Zoe is alone with his daddy in a locked room. Zoe ducks out after Douglas rebuffs her attempts to get closer to him.

Douglas pouts that Thomas is always with Zoe and not Hope. Thomas admits that he is spending time with Zoe because he likes her and it will help bring Hope back to him. Thomas tells Douglas that he isn’t with Hope because Hope doesn’t love Thomas. Douglas advises his father to shower Hope with presents and tell Hope that he loves her. Douglas runs off to tell his mommy how much daddy loves her.

Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) drops by. Vinny correctly guesses that Zoe left because Douglas didn’t like seeing Thomas and his new girlfriend together. Vinny suspects that Thomas has done other underhanded things to get Hope back. Thomas confesses that he was behind the kiss between Liam and Steffy. Thomas promises that he will end up with Hope in the end and that Douglas is the one who will make it happen.

Vinny scolds his friend for working Douglas to get Hope back. Vinny accuses Thomas of being obsessed with Hope. Thomas says that he’ll wind his son up like a top and push every button he has to in order to get Hope back. Thomas is willing to risk Douglas’ heartbreak in order to give Douglas a family in the end.

Liam asks Hope to forget the kiss and marry him. Hope repeats that she cannot leave Douglas for Liam. Douglas interrupts, upset that Thomas is with Zoe. Douglas wants his parents together. He’s afraid that Zoe will be his new mommy and he’ll lose Hope. Thomas watches proudly as Douglas does his dirty work for him—Douglas begs Hope to reunite with Thomas. Hope promises that she will never turn her back on Douglas and that she’ll do anything for him.

Liam finds Zoe in Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) office. Zoe guesses that Liam has come to warn her that Thomas has ulterior motives and is using her. Zoe is blinded to Thomas’ machinations. She believes that Hope isn’t on Thomas’ radar anymore.
