Hope really believed that they have grown and evolved past the point of manipulating one another. She expects this kind of thing from Thomas, but not from Steffy.

B&B Spoilers – Getting Custody of Douglas Forrester

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal back when Hope first considered adopting Douglas, a lawyer told her an interesting law in California. She could adopt the little boy without Thomas losing custody. However, her being his adoptive mother would make it easier for her to get custody of the child later on if necessary. It seems she is now interested in taking that extra step.

“Hope has been the one consistent voice saying, ‘I want custody of him.’… She has been saying it, and now that once again Thomas’ manipulation in using his son is coming out, Hope is finally in a position where people are like, ‘Maybe you are a good role model in his life.’”
