It is suggested that Zoe has her own scheme. We come to this conclusion not just because of her holding onto Thomas even though he’s still obsessed with Hope. But on the wedding day, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) will have a fit and run out. Thomas will start to go after his son, but Zoe stops him. She pushes him to let the wedding continue despite the little boy being upset about it.
This is a big clue that she has her own agenda. Why is she pushing so hard to finish the ceremony? Could it be due to her having her own agenda? If so, then it sounds like Thomas and Zoe are meant for one another.
