Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke Provokes Thomas – Puts Hope In Danger

Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) does have Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) best interests in mind on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. But she’s needlessly putting her daughter, the just-annulled Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), and Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) in danger through the strategy she’s pursuing.

While the rightfully large anti-Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) forces agree that Douglas shouldn’t be under his father’s care, Brooke should have thought her actions through. Having a lawyer prepare parental termination and adoption papers were two steps that went way too far.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Should Oversee Care

If Brooke hadn’t allowed her feelings about Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to overtake her, she would have realized that he is the best person to oversee Douglas’ care. If Brooke would have been stressing that Ridge should be helping to raise Douglas indefinitely, then conflict could have been avoided.

As B&B viewers know, Ridge plans to live with Thomas and Douglas in his father’s home. But Brooke should have made that suggestion, rather than forcing Ridge to do so in response to the parental rights nullification request. If she had done so, Ridge would have recognized that she had everyone’s best interests in mind and was even offering compassion to Thomas.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Logan Must Focus On Her Family

What was Hope thinking as well, in asking Thomas to sign away his parental rights? He lurched into the truth, but Thomas reminded Hope that he didn’t resist annulment, allowing for the rapid end of ‘Thope’.

It took an incredible amount of effort and personal pain in order to restore ‘Lope’. But an even more monumental and seemingly impossible task was achieved in getting Beth back.

Hope shouldn’t have allowed herself to be persuaded by Brooke to push for Douglas’ adoption, especially so soon after the annulment and Thomas’ cliff fall, or push as he sees it. Hope’ family includes Liam and Beth, not Thomas’ son.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Gains Additional Incentive

Thomas has already been working on his comeback plan. Rather then seek redemption, he’s plotting revenge.

Having an intern at Forrester Creations leak information to him about Brooke’s voice mail transcriptions, as they related to the legal documents referenced above, was just another incredible dialogue tidbit that proves just how far Thomas is willing to go.

No one can claim that Thomas is paranoid when it comes to his son. Brooke and Hope do intend to take Douglas from him.

The additional incentive Thomas has gained to defend himself and, in his mind, Douglas, now projects to a major Forrester-Logan family clash. There’s no way to fully predict which side will win, if any.
