Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke’s Horrific Lie – Ridge Flips Out When Thomas Death Truth Revealed

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will be shattered when he learns what Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) did. Worries about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) were more justified than his father imagined, but he’s all right.

Surviving a second life-threatening event in recent months, or even a third when the dangers of fighting on a helipad are reconsidered, Thomas fell into a vat of cleaning solution. However, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) believed it was filled with hydrofluoric acid and that Thomas was dissolved in it after she pushed him off the cat walk landing in the storage room at Forrester Creations.

Brooke encouraged her daughter not to tell Ridge, or anyone else what happened when Thomas was assumed to have floated off to the otherworld. Now, when Ridge learns that withheld plot tidbit, he’ll go wild.

However, Brooke’s choice to involve herself in custody issues that concern Ridge’s grandson, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), have created tension between this currently married couple. If Ridge would have only been able to heed Brooke’s warnings about Thomas’ clear instability it’s possible that much, if not all of the current mess could have been avoided.

Thomas told Hope yet another chilling piece of information. After she realized that he’d purposely kept his survival from her for a period of approximately twenty-four hours, Thomas admitted that he wanted to prove a point.

He believes that it was necessary for Hope to learn what is was like to choose to keep a secret. She said, like Thomas had in the Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) arc, that the truth must be told.

But then she seemed to agree with Brooke that too much would be lost if she told Ridge what happened in the storage room the night before. As a result Thomas has seemingly gained the upper hand, with the ability to at least temporarily blackmail Hope and her mother.

Ridge has kept his own secret, that being Thomas’ tailgating Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) on Mulholland Drive and not even trying to see if she needed help in the aftermath of the crash that took her life. However, he sees his protection of Thomas as his parental responsibility.

It feels as though Ridge won’t recognize that Brooke has been trying to protect her own child from Thomas. Kaye’s character also hasn’t seen that Brooke was trying to break Thomas’ manipulative influence over him.

Loyalty is very subjective. Fans are about to learn if Ridge gains objectivity, if even a smidgen, when the latest reveals are seen on B&B.
