B&B viewers know that Flo recently went once again to the offices of Dr. Penny Escobar. There, she interrogated the doctor concerning the health of Sally Spectra. If anyone should know the details of Sally’s terminal illness, it ought to be her physician, Dr. Escobar. Of course, viewers have watched as Penny either has lied outright or has deflected all questions by hiding behind doctor-patient confidentiality. However, Flo wasn’t easily turned aside and she kept up her questioning like a dog tugging on a bone.

In fact, Penny’s computer was left in a state where Flo didn’t even have to put in a password. Flo had direct access to medical records. Penny had to know that the first thing Flo might do was to check and see what Sally’s medical records might reveal!

While surely Penny cannot consciously want to lose her medical license, it’s an interesting question as to whether she might desire that very thing unconsciously. B&B viewers know now that Penny wants to switch professions anyway. Fans also know that Penny hates the fact that she’s been perpetuating a whole host of lies! Mightn’t Penny wish for two small things without even realizing it?

What might those two things be, B&B viewers might ask?

Due to Penny’s prolonged sense of guilt, mightn’t she secretly wish to get caught? Since Penny feels she deserves it, mightn’t she secretly desire some form of punishment? At the very same time, mightn’t Penny see that punishment as a release? Since medicine is a cage she wishes to be released from in order to pursue her passions, if her punishment is that she can’t practice medicine anymore … wouldn’t losing her license represent salvation in a sense?

Whether that’s true or not, B&B fans know that one thing is certain. Doctors don’t go leaving their offices open the way Penny did. Therefore, the fact that Penny did so has to be significant.

    Why Dr E has to lie, instead of lying for getting the right carrier, she could of apply for designer position.
