The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that fans will be seeing “theme weeks” from older episodes until filming resumes. In the meantime, viewers have been quite vocal about what they enjoy and the changes they would like to see. Let’s discuss what the writers should do about certain characters and storylines in the future.
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – More Diversity: Core Cast Are All Rich White Folk
B&B has tried to diversify a bit, but not enough. We have two African American characters: Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). However, we don’t see them very often. Both are great actors who deserve their own major storylines.
Right now, they are just airtime fillers or storyline props. Let’s make them series regulars who get seen as much as the other characters.
It would also be great to see varying income levels and maybe even a character with some sort of disability. Diversity is hot right now and would make the soap stand out from the rest.
B&B Spoilers – More Smaller And Separate Plots
Remember when soaps used to have several different storylines and they were separate from one another? Daytime TV, in general, has moved away from that. Now, we see a lot of small situations intertwining into one massive shocking plot.
The problem with this is that not every viewer is going to be interested in all storylines. Just look at the ‘Bridge’ fiasco. While some viewers are totally into the soap relationship, other people don’t care.
By only focusing on one major story at a time, it causes some viewers to lose interest. Show a little bit of everything in order to reach and retain the interest of more fans.
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Deserves Love – Stop ‘Lope’ Propping Her!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that one of the most popular characters is Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). While Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has moved on with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), have the writers forgotten about Steffy?
Lately, she only seems to exist to prop up “Lope.” Fans on the Facebook page Queen Steffy Forrester B&B have mentioned this several times. Wood is an incredible actress and is capable of so much more than what writers are currently giving her. Put her talent to good use!
To give Steffy her own solid story, it would be nice to see her with a new man, but it’s not necessary. Focus on fashion house dilemmas or something else. Anything except more crutches for Liam and Hope’s relationship. The couple definitely has an endless boomerang romance… breaking up and reconciling over and over again.
B&B Spoilers – Fresh Faces And Unique Pairings
The CBS soap has a small cast and they seem to be running out of unique pairings. So, we see several characters going back to people they have been involved with before. Now, soaps can get tricky with romance. Not just because of a small cast, but because many characters are related.
Fresh faces would be great to give an exciting new look at potential relationships.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Not All Villains Need Redemption – A True Baddie Is Soap Gold
Many years ago, a villain was a villain, and that was it. The Bold and the Beautiful has its share of evil characters. While it’s good to see a redemption storyline once in a while, each soap needs a true corrupt-to-the-core villain that is bad just for the sake of being bad. Not everyone needs a redemption story. And to be honest, we miss the old days when soaps had a clear, obvious bad seed.
What changes would you like to see on the CBS soap? If you were put in charge of writing it, what would you do to the characters and storylines?

I don’t like the Fulton’s women. They came on the scene just to break up homes and take over their husbands. No I do not like Shauna with Ridge, we do not know anything about her. The writers don’t mine putting Brooke’s dirty laundry out there while they hide Shauna’s and Ridge’s dirty laundry which is a turn off for me. If you keep putting one person’s dirty laundry out there the fan will definitely began to hate that person, like Brooke. She’s the only one that I ever seem on B&B get called everything but a child of God and played like a Ho all the time. It’s a shame how they make her out to be someone of whom she really isn’t while making Quinn Snow White. Now where is the justice in that. Everybody need to get a taste of being trashed like Brooke. No more favorite’s no more goody two shoes, if you keep dogging one out then out them all out. Brooke’s been on this show ever since it began and she deserve better than that especially from her husband. Shauna Fulton come on the show and get a better script than Brooke. What’s up with that and playing with the woman husband to the booth. How can Brooke redeem herself from a simple kiss? How? You would think the woman went to bed with Bill in which that didn’t happen, but Ridge on the other hand took it to the next level and has been taking it there ever since Shauna Fulton slept with him. Now lets level the playing field, give Brooke a new man and give Steffy a new man. Ridge got fresh meat, if you can call it
Shauna Fulton is just a newbie on B&B, let her earn her place on the show. She gone come on the show and just take over Brooke’s husband! You writers write the script for her to do it and it shouldn’t be possible. Brooke needs to get down and dirty since you’re all want her to play that role and she needs to have Ridge eating out of her hands 24/7. She needs to do it like Mommy don’t take no mess or make no mess. She needs to get out that drag and show Shauna Fulton how the Logan women do it, with fashion and grace. She needs to be a mean momma drummage showing then all she’s a real woman and one that can and will keep her man. Let them all stand back while she teach them a thing or two of how it’s done.
I would like to see more of Avant family, more members of the Spectra’s to arrive. Deacon comes to meet Beth and help battle Thomas.
Thomas is evil, some fans what him to be redeemed. Personally his character can not be redeemed. The articles I see about little Douglas going dark and becoming a tiny version of Thomas, is not something fans want to see. Yes he needs counseling to cope with what his father did to him emotionally. To work through his grief of losing his mom, Caroline. Otherwise, as he grows up and becomes a teenager he will not be able to have a healthy relationships. He’ll always be afraid to commit to someone because he will fear losing them. Steffy definitely needs her own solid storyline, whether its adopting another baby girl, dating a new hot guy, and preparing to battle Thomas for control of Forrester Creations.
We need more young actors and actresses like Emma, Zoe, Tiffany, Xander, Simon, interns for the summer internships and become part of the canvas. I can see Zoe and Carter as a potential couple. They have great chemistry. We could use Dollar Bill, Justin, Liam, and Wyatt start investigating Caroline’s death, and Emma’s death as a way to help the Logan’s and Forrester’s neutralize Thomas. More fashion shows and showdowns. Maybe some international locals like, Paris, France, Florence, Italy, New York City, and maybe a crossover to the Young and Restless with Jabot/Fenmore vs Forrester Creations or Spenser Publications vs Chancellor Media.
i want to see more of Ridge & Shauna,,Liam & Steffy with their daughter Kelly..way less of brook and hope..they need to go away for awhile,,tired of those two hogging the screen time,,not all about them two,,take that baby away from hope,,give it back to Steffy & Liam,,the best family ever to air on B&B,,,Thomas get his son Douglas back away from crazy hopeless..we need more FORRESTER present and front and center,,without propping up a logan..get back to the real B&B we all used to love
