Recklessly speaking in the Forrester mansion to Flo Fulton-Logan (Katrina Bowden) about Beth Spencer (Isabella de Armas and Rosalind Aune) nearly led to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) learning about baby swap.

Reese’s switch of baby Beth with a stillborn baby happened so that the doctor could satisfy his gambling debts. He sold Beth to a naive Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in a faux private adoption, with Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) fronting the requested quarter-million dollar payout amount.

Flo sternly told Zoe that she’s in no real danger of going to prison, though Barnes’ character insists otherwise. Miss Fulton-Logan has chosen to take her mother’s (Shauna Fulton, Denise Richards) advice, opting to move past the birth mother pose, which netted Flo an unexpected fifty thousand large.

As Bowden’s center-of-the-storm character knows, she and Reese will face serious legal charges if the truth ever comes out. And yes, the four linked words seen earlier in this paragraph represent a within-the-lines reference to Flo’s presumed father, Storm Logan (William deVry). Presumed being used because no paternity test was taken, which is digestible because deVry’s character died many years ago in real and soapy time.

Of course Hope will come to know that Phoebe Forrester is her child, Beth. But the intrigue within this well-developed storyline, that involves numerous B&B characters, involves how long the secret can be kept, using whatever plot devices, and the manner in which the climax will crash in Los Angeles, California.

Hope and her husband have just started to emerge from the immensity of the grief they’ve been living with. While a hole naturally remains in each of their hearts, in suffering the loss of the first-born child, at least Lope romantically reconnected before Liam went to visit Steffy and the girls in Europe.

Liam’s return will now be followed by Steffy’s. That event, along with Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) continued interference in Lope’s marriage, and use of Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) will keep Hope occupied. So, Flo and Zoe should continue to remain safe for the time being.
