Of course, Hope doesn’t know that the girl who Steffy adopted from Flo Fulton-Logan (Katrina Bowden) is actually Lope’s living child. That heinous act, furthered by Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) and his accomplice, Flo, forced perceptions of reality upon Hope and Liam that they’re struggling to handle. Well, they aren’t handling them, but more reacting.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope’s Lost Without Her Baby Girl
Fans of Lope surely feel that Hope and Liam are two poor souls. They’ve not only had their daughter literally stolen from them on the day of her healthy birth on Catalina Island, but also now appear likely to end their marriage. Rather than battling, each person is thinking of others, which is reflective of their generous spirits.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is nothing like Liam. In contrast, Atkinson’s well-played recast character is both manipulative and obsessive. His brazen campaign to turn Hope against herself is working, as she’s just crossed a major decision line.
Sure, Hope still has time to turn back. But the Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) reveal would probably need to take place soon. If it doesn’t happen, Tope could supplant Lope.
Overcome by grief and a need to fill the hole in her heart, Hope’s bond with Douglas is touching. As an aside, B&B’s choice of Samiri is a grand slam. This actor’s talent shines in every scene and this young man not only knows his lines, but plays them so well.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Lope Is Over, For Now
Liam knew that his wife, a woman he seems to have a deeper connection with than Steffy, though that is debatable, was having a hard time getting past Beth’s presumed death. But he thought that the romantic reconnection Lope had before he flew to Paris, France, to visit Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Chloe Teperman), Phoebe-Beth, and Steffy meant that progress was being made.
In actuality, the only advance was Thomas’ bent plot to fill Hope’s mind with emotional pitches that eventually served to push her thoughts in a different direction. Yes, she still loves Liam. But Hope is now convinced that she and Liam need to do what’s best for the children, which means that Lope must end.
