The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) defensive reaction at the cliff house pushes Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) too far.
Walking in on the verbal battle that Hope provoked with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was an eye-opener. Of course Liam knew that taking Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) to Steffy’s was a risk, which is also why he didn’t ask his significant other’s permission.
Liam is a father to Beth and to Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Allison Marcia Sweeney). That permanently ties him to Hope and to Steffy, as he told Hope during what became a triangle confrontation.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Logan Acts Like Her Mother
B&B viewers recall recent one-way conversations Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) has had with her husband, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Brooke told him how he should be handling his son, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), and very pointedly said who Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) should be living with, meaning Lope.
Brooke also went so far as to say that she’d tap the legal system, if needed, in order to ensure that Thomas was blocked from access to his son. The comments about Thomas were digestible, based on the information he purposely withheld about Phoebe Forrester actually being Beth.

However, Brooke’s opinion about Douglas angered Ridge, as he doesn’t believe his wife’s wishes should be imposed on his grandson. Hope’s commands to Liam, that he reinforce their relationship status as purely co-parents, came across as Brooke-ish.
B&B Spoilers – Liam Spencer’s Opinion Matters
It can be simplistic to suggest that there are only two sides to any story. As soap fans know, sometimes there can be more.
Hope’s feelings were detailed above. Steffy’s grace in relinquishing Beth-Phoebe to Lope has been followed by patience, as she hasn’t tried to interfere as Hope and Liam bonded with their daughter.

There are more than three parts to this equation, but we’ll stop at Liam, as he’s the final principal player. Clifton’s character can be indecisive. But when it comes to his daughter’s, he’s clearly been looking out for both of them, even when he didn’t know who Beth was.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Might See Steam Again
Hardcore fans know that Steffy is the one who told Liam to go back to Hope. That happened in the summer of 2018. Wood’s character is also the person who has remained respectful of Lope’s seeming, continued existence.
If Hope allows her now-revealed relationship insecurities to persist she’ll risk pushing Liam back to Steffy, who will look like the more stable option. And that is a final point to be made. Both ladies have allowed Liam to believe that they and their daughter’s will remain available to him indefinitely.
Lope has been reforming. But Steam just might be seen again on B&B.
