Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Hope’s Insecurities Return – Lope In Trouble Again

Hope Forrester (Annika Noelle) appeared to have crossed a threshold on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Instead, the ideas she has about Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) being a threat to ‘Lope’ were dormant.

Rather than having graduated to a new level of understanding and in also considering that the Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) reveal was personally crushing for Steffy, Hope’s old insecurities have reemerged.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) finds himself once again evidencing split romantic loyalties, as Steffy is also the mother to one of his children. While he’s currently committed to Hope, that appears not to be enough to keep his on-again significant other happy.

‘Steam’s’ history is what it is, as is ‘Lope’s’. It’s fair to say that Steffy’s feelings toward Liam are well known and haven’t dissipated. Since she doesn’t have a new love interest and isn’t in a committed relationship with another man, Hope is not imagining that Steffy remains a rival.

As B&B fans recall, Steffy made her relationship choice known more than a year ago. It was during the summer of 2018, when Steffy decided to let Liam go. She encouraged him to re-couple with Hope and urged them to remarry, which they did.

Hope must have believed all along that Liam would not have been with her if Steffy hadn’t voluntarily broken ‘Steam’. That’s a hunch, but one that loyal viewers could make based on Hope’s current dialogue where she tells Liam, in no uncertain terms, to set boundaries with Steffy once and for all.

Liam is a compassionate guy. He is a good father to both of his girls and always tries to offer consideration to the women he loves, Hope and Steffy. It’s the degree that he cares about both ladies that is the eternal question.

He didn’t want to end ‘Lope’s’ marriage. As was true with ‘Steam’, he was told by Hope to leave and go back to the other woman in his life. To her credit, Hope was thinking about Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Allison Marcia Sweeney) at that time because Beth was thought to be dead.

With the baby drama behind them and old tensions being revisited, Liam has an opportunity. He needs to take a stand. It’s far past time for him to stop working off orders, as though he was a child. Instead, he needs to act decisively and hold firm.

Either stick with Hope, or go back to Steffy. But Liam can’t allow either lady to believe that he’s sending mixed signals, as his past actions can be classified in that soapy category. This site is a leading source for everything linked to ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’.
