Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Katherine Kelly Lang Teases Brooke’s Pact, Ridge’s Kiss

The Bold And The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease the potential for a reunion between Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). And that seems even more possible as Brooke’s pact with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) ends. Brooke and Taylor had agreed that neither would pursue Ridge.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Rome Sets Stage For Romance

A recent trip to Rome gave The Bold and the Beautiful the opportunity to explore Ridge’s and Brooke’s future. And B&B spoilers tease that Brooke and Taylor end their promise to avoid pursuing Ridge. As a result, Katherine Kelly Lang told TV Insider that filming in Rome provided the perfect opportunity for romance.

“It was a fast and furious trip,” admitted Katherine. “But it was so wonderful to shoot in one of the most romantic cities in the world. I’m so excited to see the episodes,” added the Bold And The Beautiful star.

And Lang shared that highlights included filming “in front of the cannon [on the Janiculum Hill], which goes off every day. And [we shot at] the Colosseum, of course. We had a special private tour one day. It was just us [from the show] in the Colosseum.” Katherine described the Colosseum as “just so majestic. It’s mind-boggling.”

B&B Spoilers – Did Taylor Hayes And Brooke Logan End Their Friendship Too Soon?

However, Brooke and Taylor ending their friendship came at a critical time. And the Rome setting wouldn’t have offered as much potential romance for Ridge and Brooke if Taylor and Brooke had kept their pact. But did their friendship end too soon?

“I don’t know,” admitted Katherine about the sudden halt. And she admitted, “It did seem [to end] pretty quickly.” However, the Bold And The Beautiful star shared that she understood the breakup. And she pointed out, “We were at a stalemate. Everything [between them] was too good to be true. Brooke feels Taylor broke the pact first.”

Some viewers thought that Brooke would view locking lips with Ridge under the mistletoe in December as ending the pact. However, Katherine disagrees. And she explained, “Well, first of all, we were egged on by Pam [Alley Mills] and Charlie [Dick Christie]. I hardly remember it myself. It was not a big deal,” pointed out Lang.

And Katherine described the kiss under the mistletoe as a “a little peck, not a big romantic kiss.” As a result, she feels that the smooch didn’t cross the line. And she added, “It wasn’t like, ‘Oh, the pact has been destroyed!'”

But the Bold And The Beautiful star shared that she feels one particular scene became a turning point. And she noted that fans have commented on a scene when Brooke “was in her lingerie. Ridge [was at her house and] said he’d finish his drink and leave [after Brooke went upstairs]. A half hour or later, he’s still there.”

However, Katherine noted, “Brooke was in her nightgown. But nothing even happened. Brooke turned him down. Nothing happened. Had Brooke let something happen [then] something would have happened.” And Lang feels that Brooke exploding over Taylor attempting to reunite with Ridge and arranging a setup with Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers) proved key.

“That was all Brooke needed to face the inevitable reality. Brooke was coming from the place where she saw Taylor trying to set her up with these guys — Deacon and Hollis,” shared Katherine. And she noted, “Brooke felt that Taylor betrayed her. Taylor felt Brooke betrayed her because she didn’t tell Taylor how she still felt about Thomas [Matthew Atkinson]. But having a pact with someone doesn’t mean telling the other person everything. Brooke was trying to manage her family. [Braylor] was always going to go askew anyway.”
