Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katie’s Life Hangs In The Balance As Family Searches For A Donor

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for the week of October 7th thru 11th indicate that Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) hangs in the balance as her family holds on to hope.

After suffering a fainting spell, Katie was rushed to the hospital where Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and the Logan sisters were told Katie was in kidney failure. Bill and the Logan sisters gathered around her bedside as they processed the devastating news.

This week Dr. Davis (Tisha Campbell) informs Katie that in order to survive she’ll need a kidney transplant as soon as possible.

With the news that she needs and kidney transplant, the Logan and Spencer families are going to get tested to see if they’re a match. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) will be the first to volunteer, however it appears that the sisters aren’t a match.

As time ticks down, it seems like the search for a donor has hit a dead end. A teary-eyed Katie is seen in the hospital expressing her fears to Bill and Brooke when she learns that everyone has been tested, but no one is the right match.

With no donor available it looks like the family is preparing for the worse. A frightened Katie tells Bill that she doesn’t want to die. Meanwhile, Bill vows that he’s not going to lose his wife and that Will Spencer (Finnegan George) isn’t going to lose his mother. Bill starts searching for a solution on how to save Katie, while the family continues to hold onto help for a miracle.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – A New Kidney Donor Could Come Forward

While Katie’s diagnosis is grim, the family continues to hold onto hope that she will survive. Even though everyone has been tested and proven not to be the right match, there’s still a possibility a donor could come forward. And that person is a member of Katie’s family.

Katie’s estranged niece Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) will turn out to be a perfect match and donate one of her kidneys to her aunt. Flo has been estranged from the Logan family ever since it was revealed she was part of the baby switch scheme involving Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) daughter Beth. Flo has been begging her family to forgive her, but her pleas have gone unanswered.

But now it looks like Flo will have a shot at redemption with her family. By donating one of her kidneys, Flo will save Katie’s life just like her father Storm Logan (William deVry) did years earlier. The Logans will be grateful for Flo’s heroic act and they’ll start the process of forgiving her and welcoming her back into the family.
