Noelle hinted during a recent interview that another custody battle could be on the horizon. Based on Liam and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) recent comments on the soap, that could quickly become a reality.

B&B spoilers previously teased Hope would want to get custody of Douglas. At the time, she believed that Thomas would need his parental rights terminated. That is when she consulted with an adoption attorney, who told her about California’s strange adoption law that doesn’t require parental termination. She was also told that by being Douglas’ adoptive mother first, it would be easier for her to get sole custody later on.

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Annika Noelle discussed the wedding storyline. She said that before, there were naysayers when she claimed that Douglas would be safer in her care. However, after the truth about Thomas comes out, people might think Hope is the better parenting choice after all. This seemed to be a huge hint of a looming custody battle.

B&B Spoilers – Steffy Forrester’s Speech

During a recent episode, Steffy talked about how Liam and Hope belong together and confessed her part in the “Steam” smooching scheme. Then, she added that Liam, Hope, Douglas and Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) all belong together and are a family. She also admitted that she hoped Thomas was taking his role as a father seriously, but his latest scheme proves that Douglas needs protection.

When Hope found out that the “Steam” kiss was a set-up orchestrated by Thomas, Liam told her he should never have given her an ultimatum when proposing. He admitted that Douglas was a part of their family and then proposed again. All of these are clues that there is an upcoming custody battle.

Thomas has repeatedly used, manipulated and intimidated his young son for his own benefit. For a short time, it almost seemed like Thomas was trying to be a decent father. But then he went back to psychologically torturing his little boy. It is clear that he doesn’t, and perhaps never will put his son’s well-being first.

      Absolutely. We all do not like a Thomas and this Hope and thomas thing has gone on too long. Thomas has never paid for any of his mistakes. Time to let Liam and Hope be together and Steffy find someone for her. Most everyone are sick of a Thomas. Not exciting any more as same story over and over.

      Damn it Liam and Hope should be working on their own life and help each other raising their daughter Beth. Liam got two daughter that need his presence as father. I hope that I am wrong but I truly believe that Thomas will running to his father Ridge and get him on his side and make sure that he don’t lose Douglas to Liam and Hope. I know that he will lie about how he is the victim and how LIam/Hope want to take away his beloved son Douglas.
