Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Matthew Atkinson Talks Thomas’ Road To Redemption – Will B&B Fans Ever Forgive Him After Emma’s Death?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) antics will only get worse as he works hard to win Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and make her his wife. But, the actor doesn’t think that Thomas is all bad. In fact, Matthew thinks that Thomas is redeemable.

The actor shared with CBS Soaps In Depth that he feels for Thomas. At first, he just wanted to do what was best for his son. B&B spoilers state that his boy lost his mother suddenly and Thomas was just trying to protect him. He thought the best way to make things right for his son was to make Hope his new mom.

The fact that Thomas has resorted to lies to hook Hope has turned the B&B fans off completely. He feels desperate to keep his son’s family together, despite the fact Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) died.

Another issue that is making Thomas act irrationally is he doesn’t want his child to ever feel the pain he felt by Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) being an absent father. Thomas still is struggling with the fact that his dad is still flip-flopping between two women.

All Thomas wants is to make sure he and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) kids never have to feel the pain of having a parent that isn’t committed to their family.

B&B spoilers tease that the fans are divided on Thomas’ actions. Some understand why his actions, while others think there is no way to redeem him. Matthew said that he’ s enjoying the wild ride and playing a character that isn’t a guy with a huge heart.

Thomas told Ridge that Hope is someone he’s loved. And he added that he knows they may not be in love completely, but they could make a great family and, in Thomas’ eyes, that is the most important thing.
Atkinson seems to think that B&B can still redeem his character. Many Bold and the Beautiful viewers aren’t so sure especially after he drove Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) off the road and let her die.

Matthew still says that in the weeks ahead, he thinks that the B&B fans attitude towards Thomas will change. Do you think Thomas is redeemable?
