Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers & Recap Friday October 2: Ridge Professes Love For Brooke, Quinn Lies To Eric

On Friday, October 2, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful, it’s a wedding day to remember. Eric Forrester (John McCook) is surprised to see his son at Forrester Creations when he should be getting ready for the ceremony. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) doesn’t think it’s a big deal since he and Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) are already married. Ridge says Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is doing well in rehab but isn’t pleased with his decision to go through with the wedding.

Eric and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) wonder if Ridge is having second thoughts. Carter offers to call off the wedding for him. Ridge says he’ll always be in love with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) no matter what happens. Carter tells Ridge he’ll be there to back him up, whatever he decides.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Trying To Understand Ridge Forrester’s Decision

Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and Brooke try to understand Ridge’s decision to marry Shauna again. Brooke says the only way it makes sense is that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Shauna are manipulating Ridge. If Ridge goes through with the wedding, it will be the end of Brooke and Ridge. She fears he’ll never forgive her. Donna says Ridge knows how sorry she is about the illicit kiss and how much she loves him. Donna encourages her to have faith in his love for Brooke. Ridge and Brooke will survive Shauna and Quinn.

Quinn calls Shauna to tell her about the wedding preparations. Shauna isn’t sure she should go through with the ceremony when her marriage is based on lies and manipulation. Quinn tries to calm Shauna’s pre-wedding jitters. This do-over wedding will wipe the slate clean.

B&B Spoilers – Eavesdropping On Quinn Forester’s Videochat

Someone eavesdrops on Quinn’s video chat with Shauna. Shauna confesses that she and Quinn went too far when Shauna practically dragged a drunken Ridge into the wedding chapel and used Ridge’s phone to text Carter to file the divorce papers. Shauna says that coming clean is the only way she can make a lasting future with Ridge. If Ridge really loves her, he’ll forgive her and they can move forward without deception. Shauna can’t get past the fact that Ridge loves Brooke and that she and Quinn manipulated them out of their future together. She can’t be happy with Ridge if their marriage isn’t grounded in honesty.

Quinn won’t let Shauna sabotage her relationship with Ridge and Quinn’s relationship with Eric. They could lose everything. The only way Shauna can hold onto her marriage is to set it in stone. Quinn encourages Shauna to fight for Ridge. She’s doing Ridge a favor by ridding him of toxic Brooke.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Quinn Forrester’s Dirty Deeds

Katie Logan (Heather Tom) steps out from behind an open door, having gotten an earful of Shauna and Quinn’s dirty deeds. Katie hides when Eric interrupts the phone call. Eric is impressed when Quinn tells him that Shauna is feeling bad for Brooke today. Eric worries that Quinn’s animosity toward Brooke could cause Quinn to revert to old habits and bad behavior. He hates to think that Quinn is taking pleasure in Brooke’s pain.

Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) get changed for the wedding in his office at Spencer Publications. Flo doesn’t want to make her mother wait any longer for her wedding. She’s waited long enough. Shauna deserves everything that is coming to her.

Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and Carter are excited to make their big debut as a couple at the Forrester wedding. Zoe is looking for Katie. Carter says she left early for the Forrester house. If Katie runs into Quinn, it’s bound to get messy. The Logan women are fiercely loyal. Carter doesn’t believe Ridge wants to go through with the wedding.

As time runs out, Brooke desperately tries to come up with a plan to stop the wedding. She won’t let Shauna and Quinn win. Brooke decides to go to Eric’s.

Ridge sees a photo of Brooke and reminisces about their happier times. Katie finds him in his office. Ridge says Shauna has been a good friend to him, but Brooke is the love of his life and he can’t go through with the wedding. Katie agrees with Ridge that he can’t marry Shauna, especially when he finds out what Quinn and Shauna have been up to. Ridge needs to know the truth about what happened that night in Vegas.
